I was looking for what could be my new Easter dress. This one struck my fancy and I can see a pretty Easter (old-fashioned) corsage clipped to the left shoulder to complement this royal purple dress. As for the shoes... count down 1-2-3 and tell us which ones you like best with the dress and why! It is all just for fun!
My thoughts: I would normally pick pair #1 because of the lower heel, but for this dress and not for my feet, I really like pair #2. What are your thoughts?

I agree - #2 would look pretty with this dress, but #1 is more wearable.
ReplyDeleteI will go with #1. The dress is beautiful in its plainness. I think a patterned shoe takes away from the dress by diverting the focus on the shoes..WOW what a review... LOL

ReplyDeleteDefinitely #2! I think the high heel best complements the skirt length, and I'd pair it with a purple/creamy orchid. My father always made sure we had pretty corsages to wear on Easter morning. I'd forgotten that!

ReplyDeleteWow, this is beautiful! However I must agree with several of the others above and go with shoe #1, both for practical reasons (the height), and also I just like it better. However, there does need to be some kind of contrasting accessories to brighten up the entire look. Corsages are lovely...and yes, an orchid would be beautiful with this dress. But to make this more "Eastery", I am thinking of some kind of hat with flowers and a bag to match the hat in some way. I wouldn't wear a hat to church because I sing in the choir and will be wearing a robe on Easter Sunday for our cantata. But this dress would be lovely also for a wedding or tea.
