Tuesday 4
Christmas at Tuesday 4
Welcome Friends.. to Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4.
Let's discuss Christmas!
1. Is your tree up? Yes. How tall... what color lights? Three feet tall with white lights. Is there a color scheme you use? No.
2. Got a menu for Christmas Eve and Day? Christmas Eve, we go out for Chinese. Christmas day will be ham and whatever else I decide. Not finalized yet.
3. When does it go up and how long does it stay up? The menu or the tree? The tree went up after Thanksgiving and will come down on New Year's weekend.
4. What is your favorite Christmas memory. I have many. When do you open your gifts? Usually Christmas Eve. Growing up, it was always Christmas morning.
I hope your Christmas holiday is merry and bright!
Thank you for helping to make Toni's Tuesday 4 a success.
Peace & hugs!
Christmas blessings!

Bet your place looks so pretty and festive. When we used to exchange gifts, it was always on Christmas Day. There are no other traditions in our family.

I've never understood opening Christmas gifts on Christmas Eve. Ha, My mother was usually still wrapping gifts, locked in her bedroom, until 2 a.m. on Christmas morning. Actually, when I was little, we didn't even get to finish seeing the completed Christmas tree until Christmas morning. It was never put up before Christmas Eve...my mother's family tradition, and then it stayed up until her birthday, Jan. 6th, or Epiphany. Anyway, I tend to be the same in that gifts are rarely all finished being wrapped much before Christmas Eve. I'm a little better than what my mother did, but not much. LOL. I hope you and your sister have a wonderful Christmas, and also a wonderful dinner with Helen and Cheryl, Lord willing! (((hugs))) to you. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas from a fellow Chinese Christmas Eve person!
