I do have some new photos this week!
My boss asked me to ride along with him while he measured an area at Lost Lake for a guard railing so (of course) I jumped at the chance. I hadn't seen Lost Lake yet. It is farther away from the properties I have seen so far. On the way, we saw these ducks with their ducklings. So cute. He stopped the truck and took the picture for me, from his window.
Then we arrived at Lost Lake. It is dark and shaded and the little bit I
could see from walking down to the bank looks murky in my photos but it really is pretty. It is much bigger than it appears in these photos. It meanders around the bank and opens up there.
This is actually the entrance (on my side of the truck on the way out).
Well, Scout looks very proud of his new bowtie! So very handsome!! And how interesting about those fishing tree/attractor things...amazing! I love the Lost Lake...but would hate to fall in! LOL. And the ducks are always fun to see. I'm glad you were able to take a little field trip and see these things! You work in a great place. It seems as though God knew exactly what you needed!! Thank you for sharing with us. I enjoyed this so much. Have a beautiful day and weekend.
ReplyDeleteAwww Scout is a cutie. I love the tree reflections on the lake. So pretty.

Loved seeing the pictures of the lake. Scout sure is a cutie.
ReplyDeleteGreat pics Terri. Such a lovely area. Scout is so cute. He looks so much like one of our doggie's now at Rainbow Bridge, Ladybug. She had the sweetest personality and so very brave.
ReplyDeleteBlessings. xx

ReplyDeleteScout looks quite dapper and festive! Interesting to learn about where you work. I'm so glad you enjoy it and get to spend some time in nature. Win-win!
ReplyDeleteA great environment in which to work and sounds like a great boss.
ReplyDeleteMy Tom would have enjoyed your telling about the fish attractors. Clever people, those who work for wildlife!
ReplyDeleteScout is most handsome with his red bow tie!
I'm so thankful for your job! That lake is pretty.
