Friday Fotos!

 

I do have some new photos this week! 

My boss asked me to ride along with him while he measured an area at Lost Lake for a guard railing so (of course) I jumped at the chance. I hadn't seen Lost Lake yet. It is farther away from the properties I have seen so far.  On the way, we saw these ducks with their ducklings.  So cute.  He stopped the truck and took the picture for me, from his window.

Then we arrived at Lost Lake.  It is dark and shaded and the little bit I 

could see from walking down to the bank looks murky in my photos but it really is pretty. It is much bigger than it appears in these photos.  It meanders around the bank and opens up there.

This is actually the entrance (on my side of the truck on the way out).

On Wednesday, a bunch of the Fisheries folks were in our maintenance area making fish attractors. They look kind of like a plastic tree that they sink in the lakes where they attract vegetation, which attracts the little fish, which in turn attracts the bigger fish, which the fishermen love.  It was interesting to see them and learn about them.

My niece, Jackie, purchased this bowtie for her dog when she was here last weekend.  She sent me a picture of him sporting the new look.  He is SO cute!!  This is Scout.
