1. An unforgettable day in my life.  The day I met Joe. The day I married Joe.
The day my heart broke as he passed away.

2. My favorite snacks.  I like salty better than sweet... chips, nuts, oh- cheese!

3. My biggest fashion accessory.  These days I only accessorize with earrings every day. Amending
this answer because I didn't mention my wedding ring (which isn't an accessory... it is part of my
heart... and I am now also wearing Joe's wedding ring on my right middle finger and I also took his
Galaxy Smart Watch, which was my Christmas gift to him and is now mine.

4. My biggest celebrity crush.  Sam Elliott and Denzel Washington!!

5. One Hobby I would like to learn.  I can't think of a thing right now.

6. My OCD habits.  I don't think I have any obsessive behaviors.  I would ask Joe if I could.

7. If I could eat one last meal.  Shrimp and crab legs.

8. Working on my fitness.  Walking more but that has fallen off lately.

9. What I spend money on.  Groceries and cat food.

10. My favorite recipe.  I don't have a favorite over-all recipe. Check the recipe tab above.

11. The best part of each season.  Sunshine in a blue sky.

12. A life lesson I’ve learned.  Tell your loved ones that you love them often!

13. My inspiration to blog.  Meeting new people and sharing life & faith.

14. What’s inside my closet?  Clothing, shoes, and too much other junk.

15. Let me brag a minute.  I am so proud of my family and dear friends.

Peace & hugs!  Jesus loves us!

Update:  Elaine and I went to see Helen yesterday after she and Jim treated me to breakfast at
a local restaurant (YUM).  Helen was in pretty good spirits and talked a lot while we were there.  We
took a walk and checked her mailbox. She did have a notice from Spectrum, which I got to keep.
We stayed while she had lunch.  She was happy with her bigger trashcans so that was a plus!
Elaine and I took our leave and went to Bealls for a little shopping. Church today. Counting my
blessings.

  1. So glad to hear Helen was in better spirits yesterday. That is an answer to prayer! Hey, bigger trash cans might be the ticket to good spirits! I think I need some bigger trash cans, and I need to fill them with all this stuff that is accumulating in too many places...closets, drawers, files, yep...that's a great idea! Loved your answers above. And how nice to go out to breakfast with Elaine and Jim. Have a lovely Sunday. Yes, we all need to count our blessings. God is good...all the time, God is good.

  2. Glad you got to visit with Helen and hear she was doing ok. These are some good questions and as always, I like your answers and agree with a lot of them. I also agree we need to tell our friends, families that we love them often. One day we wont be able to.

  12. Oh, I'm relieved to hear Helen's doing better! Don't laugh, but I used to be a bit infatuated with Donald Trump. The only others I can think of are/were Richard Burton and Christopher Plummer. I so agree with what Lori said about Joe. Reminds me of that splendid song, "Unforgettable." Love you, lady!
