Off to church this morning. Jim and Elaine are going with me! I will be visiting with Helen again a couple of times.
She moved in on a weekend and the routine of a full week hasn't happened yet so she is still a bit uncomfortable.
She does seem to feel content which makes me feel so much better. They don't have the proper paperwork from
her doctor yet so they aren't allowed to administer her medication... but told me I could do it so that is my job, morning
and night until (hopefully) Monday. It all happened so fast (thankful) that we didn't get all the details worked out.

Cute questions this week. I can curl my tongue. I can whistle too. You are such a good friend to Helen to go give her her medication each day. Hopefully they will get things straightened out so that everything can be done for her there. Paperwork!
ReplyDeleteI can't curl my tongue either. Hopefully Helen's paperwork comes through without any problems. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteVirginia can curl her tongue in a variety of ways, and that's unnerving. We have no idea where she got that genetic talent.
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed week, Terri!
I can't curl my tongue either:)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy church today and rest up!
Sounds like the move was best just happening...still much on your plate. Wishing you a good day.,
ReplyDeleteDefinitely for #7 and #15.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Sunday and have a Happy St. Patrick's Day.

Tongue curling is a genetic thing; I can't do it either. Happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteMany of us can curl our tongue and I would have thought the opposite. Most of us leave our closet doors open and I would not have thought that either. So interesting. Loved your answers! Have a nice day!

#10, exactly! Sometimes I get cross at Tom's fascination with Siegfried & Roy. We've had conversations that usually begin with: (Me) "Well, SOMEONE in the crew has to know how it's done." or, "And don't tell me xxx goes to his grave without sharing." As you've illustrated, God's creations are the only magic.
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize not everyone can curl his/her tongue!
Have a blessed evening!
A baby's laughter! Great answer. I never thought of that
ReplyDelete#5 : Reading relaxes me. Whenever I have a doctor's appointment, or have to wait on someone or something, I read. Passes the time nicely.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your answers.
BTW, I'm banned on FB again. Won't be on there for a long time, if ever.
Love & Prayers xx
Such fun questions. I continue to think of you often and know the adjustment of life without Joe is a tough one. May the week ahead hold comfort and peace for you as you go forth.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, interesting questions. I can curl my tongue...never gave it much thought. My youngest son can not only curl his tongue, but he can tie a knot in a maraschino cherry stem with his tongue. Try that one!! Not me! I can whistle also. Closet doors must be closed. I recently got out of bed when I was almost asleep because I noticed the door was open and I couldn't stand it, So I had to get up and close it. So wonderful that you are able to help Helen get settled and give her her meds until they get it straightened out. I pray she adapts well and quickly. I haven't done a lot of reading in the past few months. We are watching "The Saint" series with Roger Moore as Simon Templar. There are a lot of them, from the TV show in the 60's. See if you can find them on your TV, they are fun to watch, mysterious, lots of action, and Roger Moore was young and very good to look at! LOL. Sorry. That may not be appropriate for you right now, but I wouldn't have told you about it except I thought you'd enjoy the shows. We are hooked on them. Thankfully there are 6 seasons worth. Sending love and hugs to you right now. You are in my prayers daily. (((hugs)))
ReplyDeleteA babies laughter is the best - and you can't help but laugh with them.
ReplyDeleteI can't curl my tongue either.
Glad Helen is settled in. You are so good to her, with the move and giving meds too!
