Thanks to Bev for this week's questions! You can join in HERE!
Hi! I'm your host Bev Sykes of the blog "Funny the World". .
Welcome to Sunday Stealing. This feature originated and published on WTIT: The
Blog. Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the
blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most
interesting and intelligent questions. Cheers to all of us thieves!
Questions from Thursday Thunk
1. If you could be a Muppet, which would you be? I don't really follow the Muppets but looked them up and decided, since I am tall, I'll be Sweetums...
2. Why is a chicken crossing the road in the first place?? No big mystery! To get to the other side!
3. What's your favorite muscle? I had to look this up too and decided to go with the masseter which works the jaw and makes it possible to eat!! LOL
4. Cheerios or Rice Krispies? I am not a cereal lover but if this is all there is then Cheerios.
5. Is summer ever going to get here? It has been here in Florida for a month or more.
6. Have you ever had a utility turned off by mistake or some other reason besides weather or nonpayment? Not that I recall.
7. What was your "last day" of something? My last day of working at the museum was July 31, 2017. Retired!!
8. If you had to be trapped in a TV show for a month, which one would you choose? The Incredible Dr. Pol! I would love to hang out with those veterinarians and see all the animals.
9. Did you have any type of class trip, band trip, etc in high school? Where did you go, what did you do? I went on lots of band trips all through high school. Our senior class trip was to Washington DC and New York City. We had a blast.
10. Do your feet smell? I don't think so!!
11. Do you know how to french braid? I know how but it has been years and years since I tried it.
12. Two guys are walking down the street. One drops his hat and reaches down to pick it up, the other kicks him in the ass. Do you laugh? Probably!!
13. You wake up one morning and dogs are meowing and cats are meowing - what are fish, elephants, and crocodiles doing? I have no idea but perhaps they are also meowing...
14. You are going to your high school reunion. What award are you going to win? Probably nothing. I won't come the farthest (one lives in CA), I only have three grandchildren, but I might just be the oldest since my birthday is in December and I started school later than most because of it.
15. You find yourself stranded on a deserted island. Soon you find a laptop with a lifelong battery & internet connection, then you find a cave with an endless supply of food and a spring of freshwater. A cruise ship comes along to save you - do you get on it? Probably, though I might think about it for a few days! LOL
16. How many shortcuts do you have on your desktop? Too many! It is probably time to clean house a bit.
17. I offer you a pie... the most delicious pie you have ever seen. You either have to eat the entire thing in one sitting or allow me to slam it into your face, which do you choose? I could not eat it all in one sitting so go ahead and make me sticky.
18. Are you a pen stealer? Nope, and I used to hate it when people would walk out of my office with my pen. I would chase them down!
19. A dude from China comes up and offers you German chocolate cake, French fries, and a Boston cream pie... what color is your car? My mind is too lazy right now to try to consider if this is a puzzle so I'll just say my car is silver.
20. Sometimes you just have to tap your foot to your favorite song - which tv series season finale are you watching? We just finished Black Sails (Treasure Island comes to life with Blackbeard, Long John Silver, Captain Vane, and Captain Flint - but not for young audiences!) on Starz and the theme song was a toe-tapper!!

We are blessed to be off to church again today! Three Sundays in a row, now! We are also blessed that our little retirement community is so far C-19 free! We haven't been to the pool yet, but we will be starting next week!
Thanks for your visit and comments!
Peace & hugs! God bless!!

Sweetums! 😊 That brings back memories.
ReplyDeleteVirginia is a true fan of Dr. Pol, Terri, so I've watched quite a few shows with her. It is a great series! I couldn't eat an entire pie either, so just bring on the splat in the face. Enjoy church today!
ReplyDeleteI'd have to be Cookie Monster. I love sweets. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear your church is open... we are still waiting... soon I hear.. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteThose were some crazy questions....lol Our church opened and then a man in the church got very very ill and was being tested, so we are back online until we find out the results. Glad you can go tho!
ReplyDeleteWow, has it been really nearly 3 yrs since retirement? Hurray for church! Have a great day, Terri, smiles.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting questions today. When I saw the muppet it made me think of Sesame Street and how it has changed. I saw the program is promoting a liberal agenda to preschoolers and that made me so sad. Why does everything have to be politicized?
ReplyDeleteI think it is called brain-washing, Arlene. Pure and simple manipulation.
DeleteIsn't retirement the best?! I've never heard of Dr. Pol … but will be checking him out for sure! So happy you and Joe discovered your new church family.... Happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteHe is on NatGeoWild at noon. Joe and I laugh that we qualify to be vet-techs from watching so many Dr. Pol shoes! LOL I do think I could help pull a calf!
DeleteThanks, Terri!
DeleteThese were some crazy questions, but you answered them very well. Loved your answers. I'd eat the whole pie. My husband would steal your pen, so watch out. He has a pen fetish I think. LOL. I'd also think seriously about staying on that island. Probably not alone, however. That would get old real fast. Have a great day. We hope to start back to church next week, but it is up in the air with this current uptick in FL. Praying.
ReplyDeleteWe always used to watch the muppets but I don't know which character I'd be.
ReplyDeleteI haven't gone to reunions but do get together regularly with a group of friends.
I do have a thing about pens but wouldn't take one intentionally. I've had mine disappear though!
Sorry I didn't get around to any
ReplyDeletecomments yesterday.
I enjoyed your answers.
Have a good Monday.
