Friday Fotos...

Has this week flown by for anyone else?  Good golly Miss Molly!! It's time to share some photos from the week.  Last week, at the farm (Joe's client) all I had was photos of cattle.  This week, we saw no cattle going in or coming out.  Here are the horses, though...

Pistol and Doc

Majesty

Vanna (she is an old girl)

And the beautiful red, white, and blue against
a blue Florida sky.

I had a vigorous physical therapy session yesterday!!  We are working on strength and I am feeling it today a bit.  I have a couple more exercises to work on at home before next week's session.

For anyone interested and if you didn't see it on Facebook yesterday, here is information about Joe's brother who died on Tuesday.  Your sweet words, prayers, and good thoughts are all appreciated!  He was a decorated Marine who served during Viet Nam.  His wife, Debbie, is also fighting cancer right now so it has been especially hard on the family during Nick's battle and Debbie's.  Their kids have been amazing through all of this.

Thanks for your visit today!  Happy weekend ahead!

Peace & hugs!  God bless!!

  1. Such beautiful pictures of the horses and the farm. I would love to pet those horses' noses! They are so soft and velvety. What a treat for you...and for them to have you visit and feed them good carrots! I am truly sorry to hear of Joe's brother passing, and that his wife is also battling cancer. Praying for your family during this very difficult time. Having lost my big brother to cancer (leukemia) last year, I truly know how hard it is to say good-bye to a beloved brother or any sibling. May God comfort you all. Have a blessed and beautiful weekend. Glad your therapy is going well. You will soon be dancing again!! (((hugs)))

  4. What a wonderful man Nick was, Terri. It is so tough to lose a loved one, especially during this time of isolation for us "old" folks. Will continue to pray for all of you, my friend.
    Blessings!

  7. So Terri, you are able to get out of the car and walk around to get the pics? Joe's brother sounds like a wonderful guy and how nice that he got to die peacefully at home. I'm so sorry about his wife, but sounds like she will have plenty of help. Doesn't make it any easier though. Nothing is easy about losing your spouse.

    1. Connie, I walked down to both pastures. My knee pain is gone and I'm only dragging the cane along for security. Praise God. Nick was an amazing man. Thank you for your kind words!

  8. What a remarkable man, your BIL! Still lifting prayers for his wife's healing.
Reflecting … if I was 10 years old again, I'd be surreptitiously trying to climb the fence and hop aboard Pistol. :)

    1. Pistol and Doc both can be ridden but Vanna and Majesty can't. Vanna has a bad leg and Majesty has a back problem. The kids ride Doc & Pistol bareback.
