Friday Fotos...

Continuing the tradition from Debbie @ Breathing In Grace to post photos on Fridays from our week.

We got to the farm (Joe's client) on Wednesday.
The horses are still separated in faraway pastures, so this week
I treated Vanna and Majesty.

And then the goats got the rest of the carrots instead of
me traveling out to Doc and Pistol.

The goats were very happy for the attention and the carrots.

On the way out, we saw cattle.

It is sad for me when Mother's Day rolls around and
there is no one to buy a card for or to call and say I Love You.
When my grandma died a few years ago, she was the last one.
My mom has been gone since 1995.  She was only 65 when she died
of colon cancer.  I miss her wise counsel and her sweet smile.
I miss her strong faith and I miss her unconditional love.
She would have LOVED Facebook and Blogger.

Wishing you a good weekend!   Thanks for your visit.

Peace & hugs!  God bless!!

  1. Enjoyed seeing the animals. Mother's Day is sad to me as well; my Mother died when she was 61 and I was 34 so I had no one to say Happy Mother's Day as well. Hope your Friday and upcoming weekend are good.

  2. Love seeing the farm animals...and those goats are so cute!! What a fun time for you! Yes, I think we are all feeling the "Mother's Days blues". My mother has been gone 14 years and my mother in law about a year and a half. We will wait until Monday to celebrate because my daughter in law has to work all day Sunday (Home Depot),but she is off on Monday and wants to cook lasagna. So that sounds good to me. And since we can't go to church anyway on Sunday, it won't seem like Mother's Day anyway...But we can celebrate our mothers in our hearts. We were blessed to have such wonderful mothers. I think the older I get the more I realize how much my mother taught me, just by being a good person in the way she lived. I am very thankful for that.

  8. You've reminded me here, Terri, of how blessed I am to still have my mother with us. I don't think we ever get over the loss of a parent.
    Enjoyed the photos!
    Blessings!

  9. I can't even imagine not having mom around. I know she is getting older and I am trying to relish those days that she still has sound mind. I lost my dad very early, so Father's Day is really hard for me!
I find goats never lack for wanting attention.

  10. I always enjoy seeing the farm pictures Terri. Getting outside is good for us in this pandemic. A little exposure to the outside world will help build our immunity. I am fortunate to still have my mom but she has declined this last year. I was glad to be able to send her a card!

  13. I don't care for Mothers Day. My mom has passed and May 11 is my dad's birthday who also has passed. May 8, is also the anniversary of when my first born son passed. To me, we can observe Mothers Day, on another month. Or how about every day.

Love your country photos. I love cows. Take care

  14. Those goats' expressions always slay me. :))) I believe our mothers are smiling down, always loving us. But ya, it still hurts.

  15. Oh my - the goats always make me smile! And the countryside is so pretty.
It's been just a little over a year since Bob's mom passed, and my mom has been gone for almost 16 years. So this year, I can only get something for me dear stepmom.
