Check out the gown, pick some shoes and let

It's just a whimsical thing!!

So many high school girls are missing their proms this year. Sad!
I think this is a lovely prom dress, perhaps reminiscent of days gone by.
She will need some shoes!
Shoe #1 by Sophia Webster
Shoe #2 by Rene Caovilla
Shoe #3 by (unknown)
My thoughts: If I had a daughter and she wanted this dress, I would do my best to get it for her. I love the color and just think it is sweet. I'll pick shoe#2 because it looks younger than the other two. None would be right for me, but for a 17-year old going to prom in this dress... #2. I couldn't dance the night away in any of them, so figure she will kick the shoes off at some point! What do you think?
I also posted on the Wednesday Hodgepodge today.
Peace & hugs! God bless!!

You are probably correct about the shoes...I'd go with #1 if it were me, but for a young girl going to the prom, probably #2. That is such a sweet dress, and I love the color also. The only thing is, I can see right through it to her shorts she is wearing underneath. I would probably want it to have some kind of lining that is not quite that sheer. But that's just me. I know I've often said it's a good thing I didn't have daughters because I would never have allowed them to wear the kind of clothes so many of them want to wear! LOL! But this dress is very sweet.
ReplyDelete#2 is my choice too.
ReplyDelete#3. Just because it has a strap to keep the shoe on, LOL.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Terri. #2 seems more suited for a 17-y/o.
ReplyDeleteShoe #1! :)
ReplyDeleteI think I'd go with #1 but Pamela's right - the dress could do with a lining.
ReplyDeleteWhat a TINY girl - is it a real girl or a manikin? I think I will pick number 1 myself.
