This was an Easter to remember, that's for sure.
We "attended" worship service on Facebook and were happy to see our
Pastor's face and hear two of our praise team sing for us.
After our worship service, I got the ham in the oven, made the deviled eggs,
cooked the baked beans, and put the store-bought potato salad in a bowl.
I did not go to much trouble for our Easter dinner but it was good.
Helen and Cheryl came over to join us for dinner. It is
always good to see them but hard not to hug them.
I took extra care with food prep and we all enjoyed the meal.
We have sanitizer right at the front door to use when entering
and again when leaving. Hands were washed before setting the table
and placing the food on the table. We ate in the kitchen rather than in the dining room.
On Saturday, I cleaned a bit and made Easter gift-bags for Helen & Cheryl.
They got chocolate Easter bunnies and Peanut M&Ms.
I sent a bag of dog treats to Cheryl's dog, Oz.
And that was our weekend! Thanks for checking in!!
Peace & hugs!! God bless!!

Sounds like a nice weekend. Your Easter dinner sounds yummy.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day!
Easter dinner sounds perfect. WE can't lose the human connection face to face in all of this. I am grateful for technology, but I am ready to give hugs!
ReplyDeleteEgads, Terri--I FORGOT TO TAKE PHOTOS of our meal yesterday, sigh...no one was in much of a mood...I think this "house arrest" (day 40 something) is having an opposite affect...anyways...

That was a wonderful meal, and I am sure Helen and Cheryl appreciated being able to spend it with you. What a blessing! Yes, no hugs or holding hands to pray, but we enjoyed our adult kids yesterday as well. God is good, and we are blessed.
