Thankful Thursday!

It is time to count our blessings with others over at Knit By God's Hand!  Thanks for hosting us, Rebecca Jo!!  You can join in HERE!

** We are thankful that our son, Jeff, will be here on Sunday!

** I told grandson, Tristan, that his Uncle Jeff would be here next week and Tristan is coming over to visit!!

** I am thankful for our small group from church.  Last night was great fellowship, food, and fun!

** I am happy and thankful that my cold is a bit better and am determined to banish it this time!

** My therapy consultation went well yesterday.  The physical therapist, Anna, says my problem is NOT my SI Joint (as the ortho doc diagnosed) but is spinal stenosis and a nerve being pinched which affects my gluteus maximus muscle and thigh muscle. She worked with me for  90  minutes and convinced me. True therapy starts tomorrow and she is going to work me hard for strengthening my hips and core muscles.  Necessary.  That will also help my left knee rehab, too, in May.

** As always, I am thankful for the people in my life, including each of you!!

Thanks for your visit!  Happy Thursday!

Peace &  hugs!!  God Bless!!

  1. I have the greatest respect for PT's... often they are so far ahead of the Docs that I have had... Best wishes for improvement.

  5. I am so happy to hear about the therapy. That is great news and they can do wonders even if it is rugged. Take care and enjoy that family time.

  6. So glad your son is going to visit That is always something to look forward to. I see you will have to block the idiot above me-Peter Parker-I had to block him in the past, too.
    Enjoy your weekend. xo Diana

  9. Tom's has spinal stenosis, as well … but has never worked with a therapist. From what you've said, Anna sounds determined to make you 'new' in no time! Prayers lifted!

  10. Glad your therapist is helping you, Terri. Always a better alternative to taking medication in my book. You have some very happy things for which to be thankful today!
    Blessings!

  12. Oh boy, I'm so glad your therapy went so well and that the therapist is going to strengthen you so your recovery goes better. I have to say that maybe I should have gone when my doc suggested it after hearing what your therapist had to say. I think a lot of my problem is muscular. I might have to get him to refer me again.

Hooray for a house full of family this weekend! Enjoy every moment!
