It has turned cold (for us) here in central Florida!
Perfect soup weather. Joe and I ate this
vegetable soup for two days. (No recipe... I just throw it together.)
On my birthday (Tuesday) I was invited out to lunch with
some of my museum (former) co-workers.
After lunch, I had to visit the Museum.
This tree greets visitors in the Hollis Gallery.
These adorable glass Christmas trees are in the
gift shop and they are flying out of the store (to quote the manager)!
Aren't they cute? The small ones are less than $10.00!
We went to the farm (Joe's client) Wednesday afternoon.

Hope got half of my carrots! She is such a pretty girl!

My buddy, Doc, got the other half of my carrots.
He came from way out in the pasture to get his treats!
The guinea hens were observing the ducks and geese.
Karma... beautiful boy!
On our way out, we had to go slowly!!
They are used to vehicles but are still skittish.
Joe is always afraid one will charge the car but
I think they are too scared to get that close.
I am meeting my lunch bunch girlfriends for brunch at Keke's today!! We haven't gotten together in forever (it seems) so I am looking forward to seeing Heather, Shirley, and Cindee. Terry can't come and I haven't heard if Melody is driving down, but it will be fun to see those who can make it!
Nickels tonight!! Always fun! We signed up for the HOA Christmas dinner at the Clubhouse on the 22nd and we also signed up for New Year's Eve. It was lots of fun last year and Al and Theresa asked if we could sit together again this year. Of course!!

I Love your farm pictures...Hope is a beautiful horse...very interesting markings indeed. The guineas watching the geese/ducks are really funny. Love the cattle too. And I also Love the little glass trees... I think I must love it all...I've said it so many times! Ha Ha. Oh, I love that you are meeting friends for lunch too...I love being able to visit like this! ReplyDeleteYour soup looks good! Alan helped me make potato cheese soup with ham today. We had friends in and they liked it too. I like the tree ornaments. I like shiny brights! I think that it is so wonderful that you get to go to the farm and see the animals. Farm animals make us all smile and feel warm fuzzies inside.
