Sunday Stealing Questions...

Pop Tarts

Hi! I'm your host Bev Sykes of the blog "Funny the World". . Welcome to Sunday Stealing. This feature originated and published on WTIT: The Blog. Here we will steal all types of questions from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent questions. (Past hosts include: Our first - Judd Corizan, Mr. L, Kwizgiver and Bud)  Cheers to all of us thieves!

This is stolen from Freaky PopTart

1. What's the coldest temp you've experienced?  I grew up in Ohio so probably around 0° a few times back in the day. Chill factors less than that.

2. What's for dinner tonight?  Leftovers from brunch this morning.

3. Would you consider moving to Australia?  If all expenses were paid and I could see family a couple of times a year (expenses paid), sure.  We have friends who lived there a few years and loved it.

4. What was your favorite subject in high school?  I loved art, band, and English, followed by biology.

5. How many hours a day is your tv on?  Usually from late morning until bedtime, even if we aren’t watching it (though we usually are).

6. Have you ever received an award?  A few over the years, but none that I kept or really cared about.

7. What's your mousepad look like?  The arm of my recliner! LOL

8. How many browser tabs do you have open right now?  I only have 19 tabs open. Don’t judge me!!

9. If you are a parent, have you or did you ever put Vicks VapoRub on your children under the age of 2?  I am a step-parent and, at 17 and 21, the boys were old enough to put their own Vicks VapoRub on when I married Joe.

10. As an adult, do you like the scent of Vicks VapoRub?  It’s not a scent I seek out, but it is comforting when I am sick.  Memories of Mom.

11. If you had to pick one insect to infest your house for 1 day and after that day they would just suddenly vanish, which insect infestation would you pick?   I will pick the Dragonfly.  Aren’t they pretty?  They eat mosquitoes and don’t bite humans!

12. What color is the underwear that you are wearing right at this moment?  Seems like TMI, but white. Always white.

Thanks to our hostess, Bev Sykes, for today's questions!  You can find here HERE and join in!  Thanks to you for your visit.  I wish you a blessed Sunday!!
Peace & hugs!  God bless!

  1. I'd move to Australia too.
    I'd probably choose butterflies.

  3. I guess I am the odd ball but while I might like to visit Australia, I love the USA and especially the southern part of America. I lived out of the south for three years and was always plotting how to get back.lol

  5. I use the arm of my recliner, too, but I still put a mouse pad down as I'm afraid of clogging the mouse up with little bits of lint...even though there isn't a rollerball like in the old days. LOL
Imagine the reaction if you'd tried to swipe some Vick's on the boys!
    Have a blessed Sunday, Terri!

  7. Insect? I'd choose a butterfly. And English was my favorite subject in school, so much so, that I majored in it at college.
Blessings, Terri, and enjoy your Sunday!

  9. 1. What's the coldest temp you've experienced?

Absolute zero. Did you know that Absolute Zero is the lowest possible temperature you can ever get to? You just cannot get any lower than Absolute Zero. It is in fact -273.15° on the Celsius scale and −459.67° on the Fahrenheit scale. It is over 100 kilos on the bathroom scale if you have been over-eating lately. At Absolute Zero nothing really happens. The buses will not run so it is pointless waiting for them at the bus stop. Absolute Zero is also what most men get from their wives when they've said something that upsets them.

    God bless.

  10. TMI … exactly! (Scratching my head, 'why???') Your mouse is lovely, Terri! I don't know if Vick's Vap-O-Rub contains many medicinal properties; but (like you) the associated memories are priceless!

  12. Been below 0 a few times in New Hampshire/Maine, and possibly even Ohio, near Lake Erie/Willoughby Hills. Wind chill really low there. Now, in Florida, the coldest temp. I remember was 5 degrees. In Hilliard, Northeast Florida. I love Vicks. I keep a jar by the bedside, because when I get a stuffy nose and can't breathe, all I have to do is breathe it in and it helps open up stuffy passageways. If the insect will totally disappear from the earth after one day in my house, then probably the mosquito. But if it isn't going to disappear forever, then I like your idea of the dragonfly. We had hot dogs tonight and fruit salad (pineapple, apples, grapes, chopped walnuts, coconut, w/ added orange juice to the pineapple juice. It was so refreshing). Underwear is TMI for public domain. but rarely ever white. LOL. have a great week.

  13. I like Vicks and I did put it on my kids!
I have 10 browser windows open. You make me feel good!
My mouse pad is the arm of my chair too.
No to moving to Australia for me. I know it's beautiful, but too far away from everyone for me. :)

  14. Such interesting questions, and Vicks brings back such memories of my Grandmother. She used it for literally everything.

  15. I chose fruitflies because I took the vanishing to mean they would never ever be seen again!
I love the comfort of V icks

  16. Never thought of dragonflies as we don't see many at all here. Enjoyed your answers Terri. Have a day of blessings.

  17. Hi Terri, I have never seen a blue dragonfly, only an orange one. My husband has the tv on most of the day. I don't think I have ever had that many browsers open at once. I play FV and that takes up a lot of memory so I can't have to many open at once.
