Questions for the Wednesday Medley...

Here is a medley of questions you may choose to answer on your Wednesday blog.  There aren't any rules and there is no obligation. Link up if you want to.   I'm doing this to fill my Wednesday (since we lost the Hodgepodge) and if you are interested, then join in!!  It might be fun!!

It's all about - What, what, what???

What is your claim to fame?

What is something you like to do the old-fashioned way?

What did you think you would grow out of but haven’t?

What is the dumbest thing you’ve done that actually turned out pretty well?

If you had to change your name, what would you change it to?

What is something random you can tell us about this week?

-------------------------------------------

I wanted to let you know that Joe had his appointment with the neurologist yesterday (finally!).  We got the results of the MRI on his back and were happy to learn that his spine looks much better than the doctor was expecting on an 81-year-old man and that, though there is evidence of some arthritis, there is only mild to moderate spinal stenosis between two of his vertebra.  That made us happy, but he did not get an epidural for the pain.  The doctor said to continue with the pain management folks, get some exercise in the pool (if possible) and suggested a patch with lidocaine in it to help with some of the pain.  So we are happy he has a strong spine and now Joe knows he can stop worrying about back surgery. Sometimes worry can make the pain worse (my thought).

Hope to see you here tomorrow!!  Thanks for stopping by!

Peace & hugs!  God bless!

  5. I'm in agreement with you that worry can make pain worse. I'm so glad surgery has been crossed off of Joe's "To Do List", so to speak.

Keeping you and yours in prayer.

  7. GReat questions for tomorrow. Thanks! And, so glad about Joe's back. My hubby is dealing with, what he thinks, is pretty serious back issues but he doesn't know yet. He'll be seeing a Neurologist soon with his recent MRI report.
