I'm starting with one of our beautiful Florida skies!
These are all from the farm (Joe's client) on Wednesday
but I think I got some new things to share with you.
Instead of cattle on the lane, we saw this deer run
across in front of us! Beautiful!
He nearly disappeared in the tall grass, but there he is, looking back at us.
The Sandhill Cranes were in the front pastures as we arrived.
This little guy is the grandson of one of the employees.
He and I had a fun time walking down to the pond
and visiting the goats.
He was pointing at all the birds as they took off.
Back in the stable area, the guinea hens were roosting in the rafters!
Had to watch where we walked!! LOL
The little man (2 years old) was excited to be on one of the horses.
His mom and her friend let him ride a bit.
And last, but not least, Lucy and Vinny on my chair arms,
watching the bird video... again!!
We had a great time with our new friends last night. Today is starting early with our semi-annual AC/Heating checkup. They just come out and make sure all the parts are working. The unit isn't a year old yet so we aren't expecting any problems. Tonight we are having dinner with Helen & Cheryl. Should be fun!
Thanks for your visit today!! Happy Friday!!
Peace & hugs! God bless!!

Beautiful pictures! Each one was better than the last. I'd love to visit that farm.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed the pictures at the farm. Glad you had a good time with new friends, and will enjoy dinner with Helen and Cheryl tonight. Happy Friday dear friend.
ReplyDeleteAre those cats watching a bird video, or is it a cooking program?
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Wow! Love your deer - BUCK! photo! That was a great shot! You were blessed to get that. Always love seeing the sand hill cranes and the white birds over the water...and that darling little boy on the horse! I know he loved that! What a great time and such joy for a little boy!! Yes, the guineas look happy up there, but you are wise to stay out from under them! Your cats playing with the computer cracks me up. Enjoy your weekend with your friends and all. Loving this weather!!!
ReplyDeleteLove all your farm pics. How neat to see a deer.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day!
How neat to see the cranes in the fields. Here it is Canadian geese and turkeys. Thanks for sharing your trip to the farm. The photos were lovely as always and I enjoyed them. Have a blessed Friday!
ReplyDeleteI love deer! We had three families here this summer and three babies. Two of the babies were twins! Really, I love wildlife. There is something that restores my soul!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, I love the little guy on a horse!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great photo of the deer! Would you believe I saw one this week? I haven't seen one in the longest time! Love getting outdoors...you always see something neat here in FL! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteGoing to the Country is always good for the soul. It is getting colder here today but then it is November. Time to get out the coats.
ReplyDeleteWhat great photos Terri. The little boy is adorable. We get deer here constantly It's normal living in the country. I can't count the times many family members encountered one with their cars. LOL! Many blessings.
ReplyDeleteWhat a blessing to get to go to the farm each week with Mr. Joe, especially when you get to spend time with a cute younger fellow! ;-) HOPE both of you are doing well.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures of the farm...it looks like a wonderful place to visit!
ReplyDeleteWhat a thrill to spot that deer! Your (photo) shot is the only kind of shooting I can abide. Pretty neat, that little guy learning to ride at such an early age! Your nearly-new HVAC unit has got to be a comfort. Ours is 4 y/o already, so we're careful to schedule semi-annual check-ups.
ReplyDeleteSeems like your kitty cats can't get enough of the bird video! :) And I love how blue the sky is in your other photos, Terri. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Thanks for the trip to the farm. When I was a little girl one of my favorite songs was "Let's Take a Trip to the Farm". I never did visit one as a kid, but now I get to go with you!
ReplyDeleteI like the photo of the hens in the rafters!
My cat is enjoying her cat nip high right now!! Snoozing away... Sounds like a lovely time.. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat great photos sweet Terri. Gorgeous blue sky and water. You chose great subjects for your photos. Hugs and blessings
ReplyDeleteI have a dear friend who had guinea's...she would step out on her porch and call.."Here Ladies!" They would come running because they knew she had feed for them. I loved visiting with her, great days on her porch. Enjoyed all the pics today.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics today! I had 3 deer run in front of me (at separate times) on my way in to work this week. Yikes!
ReplyDeleteI like the Sand Hill Cranes.
Hope you had fun with Helen and Cheryl. Glad they are doing well enough to be going out again.
Some fun photos and that wee fellow is so cute. He would be full of wonder at that age. I enjoy walking with the little ones and seeing things anew.
