My new part-time job is in a doctor's office so I can't take any photos there. I have today off!! We are never open on Fridays. I must admit that it has been tiring, getting up early again and being "on" at work. It won't take long to get back into a routine. I'm happy to have Kim with me tomorrow and next week. Then I will have three days on my own before we take a break until after Christmas. I'm happy to have the holiday time, but don't want to lose my momentum!
So... here are some photos from this week that I can share!
We went to the farm (Joe's client) on Monday this week.
(I didn't start work until Tuesday.)
Met this big guy as we went in.
The horses were all over the place so the goats
got most of my apples and carrots. These Nubians
are so cute and so aggressive when you have food for them! LOL
They also love to be petted, but do expect a treat!
We are continuing to work on getting Christmas decorations
done. I decked out Pink Floyd Flamingo a few days ago.
His facelift (new paint) is holding up well.
We also put this sign out for Christmas. It is
nice to see them posted at quite a few homes here in Mas Verde.
Vinny HAS to be in the middle of anything happening in the kitchen.
I tell him to get down and he does but comes right back immediately.
Doesn't he look innocent?
He is actually watching me cook and knows there are pork chops
under that lid. He can be as aggressive as those Nubian goats! LOL
Cat people understand. I will tell you that I go through
lots of Clorox wipes, sanitizing countertops, etc..
Just in case you are ever here for a meal...
NOTE:
Linda Eller has a new blog link and I told her I would help get the word out so you don't miss her! Here it is! https://ramblingsofaretiredlady.blogspot.com/
Thanks again to Debbie for hosting this link-up!!
Thanks to you for your visit!!
Peace & hugs! God bless!

I love the ears, long and floppy, on the goats. They are characters!
ReplyDeleteDecorating Pink Floyd is a cute idea. Maybe I'll do that next year (when so much of my stuff isn't packed away).
Enjoy your day off!
Wonderful photos, Terri. I love those goats. Did you take one home?
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
I enjoyed the photos, goats are a favorite of mine. I like the tying in of Floyd with Christmas. And that Vinnie...he's such a cutie. Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteDo you give him pork chops? What a happy cat! :)
ReplyDeleteLove seeing that you were still able to participate with us even though you started a new job this week! I've been praying for you, and am glad to hear it is going well so far. Sounds like a good place for you. Love your farm critters...those goats are really something else!!! And then, Vinny...what a character!! Glad we got to see him! I love your Pink Floyd Flamingo! He's really just perfect! Flamingos are a staple item around here...not that I'm all that crazy about them, but friends just seem to think I should be! LOL. Also love your Jesus Christmas sign. I love seeing people put out signs telling the real meaning of Christmas. Which reminds me, I have one that I need to put out as well!!! Have a blessed day off. I hope you find something fun to do.
ReplyDeleteVinny is gorgeous! We are partial to red tabbies. Funny how cats are either counter jumpers or they're not. One neighbor has a cat that wouldn't jump on a counter if it was lined with all her favorite foods, and another neighbor has a cat who will jump on the counter just to see what's there and what's in the sink!
ReplyDeleteVinny is a cutie pie. So are the goats. I love Pink Floyd.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day off!
Love Pink Floyd and all his decorations. Vinney is so cute and so typical of my kitties used to be. Thanks for posting my new blog address. I am slowly but surely getting my friends to come back. Have a nice Friday day off!
ReplyDeleteA big fella!!
ReplyDeleteI love your flamingo! I think I need one now...do I? heehee! Enjoy your day and the weekend! Rest up! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter had a few goats for a while, I loved to sit and watch them. Pink Floyd looks great in his Christmas attire and Vinny...well Vinny just looks like he wants a pork chop!!
ReplyDeleteThose goats are so cute! Will you be going to the farm now on Fridays? I have to admit it would be a little difficult to get back in the routine again. I am always up early and get ready for the day, but enjoy the days where we are "just home". Thanks for explaining about the cat and countertops! 😂 I was a little concerned. But your cat looks to be a well behaved observer.
ReplyDeleteWe will be going on Wednesday afternoons going forward. I'm happy that we will have all day Friday to get things done here at home and every other weekend, we will have three days off!
DeleteI like the trip to the farm as always, the goats are wonderful but Vinnie takes the prize. I've had cats through the years and understand completely. We only live in their houses.. not the other way round!
ReplyDeleteYou cat! It is a big one :-) And the goats are so cute.
ReplyDeletePink Floyd Flamingo is a hoot all decked out for Christmas, Terri. And I certainly hear you about cats - almost always in the wrong place at the wrong time.
ReplyDeleteBlessings for a fabulous weekend!
The schedule at your new job sounds so great, Terri! Like it was made to order! I wonder if Pink Floyd Flamingo isn't the hit of the neighborhood?
ReplyDeleteI laughed out loud at your comment about "just in case you are ever here for a meal." Hahahaha!! Sam's cats are just like that. They have been known to push things off the kitchen counter during the night. The kitchen trash has to be put outside overnight.
ReplyDeleteThose goats! Anthony and Lori talk about getting goats at some point.
The goats are cute!
ReplyDeleteI know you'll soon be settled in to that job and it will feel normal.
Cats! I totally get it!
I can't believe I didn't comment on this post... well, yes I can. Where does my time go these days? 😔 Hope you're enjoying your job. How wonderful to be able to find a job you'll enjoy, learning something new! Happy Tuesday! 💜
