On this Tickled Tuesday I am tickled to share these pretty amazing photos that I received by email from my friend Shirley. Let me know what you think...
Winston Churchill, 1895
John Wayne, 1930 (aged 23)
Alfred Hitchcock, 1920’s
Her Majesty and Prince Phillip –
same brooch, same pearls, same love.
And most amazing...
Mother Teresa
And now, to leave you with a few giggles...
Thanks for stopping by today! Happy Tuesday. Peace & hugs!

Those pictures are amazing. Wouldn't it be nice to be young a bit longer in our life? My husband's famous saying is that youth is wasted on the young.
ReplyDeleteGREAT pictures! And the cartoons put a smile on my face, here, so early in the morning. Thanks and you have a great day, Terri!
ReplyDeleteAh ... seagulls. I remember once visiting a seaside town with my boss. A seagull flew above and emptied its load on her hair and dress. She asked me if I had a paper handkerchief. I said, "What's the point? The seagull has flown miles away by now!"
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Wow those pics are great. Your jokes were good too.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day!
Ha, loved the jokes...and what lovely photos, smiles.
ReplyDeleteI love the picture of Prince Phillip and Queen Elizabeth. They are so cute together. I have read a lot about them and while I do think she is the nicer person, they are devoted to one another.
ReplyDeleteI had not heard the Ba-gulls one. I love that! It reminds me of stuff posted by a woman in our Sunday school Class.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a happy day. Tickled Tuesday starts off with a laugh so how can it be anything but happy?!!
Wow, the Mother Theresa picture was startling. I would have never known that was her.
ReplyDeleteThe pictures are great....it is fun to look back and compare. The jokes are good for a smile this morning.
ReplyDeleteI think that could be true of a bad joke. Those pictures are wonderful and it was fun to see them. John Wayne was really handsome! I like the pic of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. The guy playing him on the Crown really resembles him in that photo. They will be replacing that actor with another one and also the woman. I have grown so used to them, I hope it doesn't spoil it for me. Did you see the movie Darkest Hour? It was good. I really enjoy movies about English history. We saw one on Netflix called Viceroy's House. Very good. Sorry to be so wordy today.
ReplyDeleteWe need to catch up and watch The Crown. Viceroy's House sounds good too. Darkest Hour will also go on our list. Thanks!!
DeleteI love those old pics!!! How blessed you are to have them.
ReplyDeletethe love for the prince and queen is so amazing
thank you for the funnies and putting a smile on my face
Love those pictures! John Wayne was quite the handsome guy! I enjoyed the pictures of the Queen and Prince Phillip, I've been watching the Crown on Netflix. I'm still getting over my recent infection but haven't forgotten the post I promised.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness!
ReplyDeleteI love the photos you shared!!!
Thank you!!!
Hi Terri!! OMG if you asked me to identify those young pics of Winston Churchill and John Wayne I would never have guessed. Thanks for the chuckles today. I can use them!!
ReplyDeleteI love those photos! John Wayne was very handsome.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the laughs too... :)
