Thankful Thursday Link-up....

Rebecca Jo, over at Knit By God's Hand, hosts a weekly linky called Thankful Thursday!  Join in HERE and be sure to visit Rebecca Jo!!

Today I am thankful for my new community here at Mas Verde.  The women gathered yesterday for a luncheon in support of Camp Braveheart.  At the end of the event, it was announced that we raised $800 for the Hospice kids' camp. Well done!!

This was the line to get lunch.  We had a nice salad and beef stroganoff, and some yummy cakes for dessert.  You can't see me in this photo, but I'm in front of the lady in the red shirt - middle of the picture.  (Photo pulled from our FB group page.)

A few ladies did a sketch that was cute about a dream.
It didn't make a lot of sense but got some laughs!

 A blurry selfie....

That's a cheerleader, a princess, a movie star and a pole-dancer standing behind the grandma who was having the dream.

I am also thankful that we have finished with our Christmas decorating.  Pictures will follow tomorrow, for Friday Foto Friends!

Thanks for your visit!  Peace & hugs.

  1. I'm so sorry to be so slack to visit. There's so much going on right now. My tree is in the living room, but without any decorations. 😔 Hopefully, I can get it decorated before Christmas! 😁 Looks like Y'all had a great time, but I believe you always do. Thankful for your friendship, dear Lady! 💜

  8. What a great group! MV sounds like the sort of community in which even the shy/introverted can feel welcome.
Do the fellows have a similar club?

    1. The 'fellows' golf and go to breakfast, but they mainly just do what the women tell them to do.... LOL
