Weekend Recap on Monday....

We really made some progress this weekend, even though we had to stop and get gussied up for "The Gala" at the Museum.  The pile of empty boxes keeps growing and the kitchen and bathrooms are finally (nearly) put together.  I still need to get curtains for all the windows and we need two area rugs for the living room. There is time for that, though.

This pile has actually doubled.  The City will pick them up on Tuesday!!

Here are some photos from Gala.....

Pal, Me, my boss Claire, and Ellen.

The band was called Sofa Kings. They do a lot of oldies. Obviously they were not in the picture!

 The bobcat taxidermy...

 Gallery I ready for diners....

Co-workers, Ellen, Salena, Kalisa and Laura

Joe and me with the bear...

The crowd down the hallway where all the silent auction items were located.

Another crowd shot.  It was well-attended!

The menu....everything was delicious!

Speaking of 'delicious'....I put a pot roast in the crock pot yesterday morning.  We had it and some steamed veggies and potatoes for dinner.  I cut up all the leftovers and added some broth and tomato juice to make vegetable soup for dinner tonight.  Yum!!

I'm sorry that I still haven't caught up with all your posts.  I'll get back to normal posting and commenting soon.  I miss everyone!!  I do appreciate your visit!!  Peace & hugs!!

  2. Thanks for sharing pictures from the Gala. Slowly but surely, things at home are getting done and it wont be too much longer until you can rest and enjoy. Hope your week is good both at work and at home.
