Sunday Stealing from The Martial Arts....

Thanks to Bud Weiser for another fun meme this Sunday!  Join the fun HERE.

The Martial Arts Meme

Welcome back to Sunday Stealing which originated on WTIT: The Blog authored by Bud Weiser. Here we will steal all types of memes (or surveys) from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent memes. You may have heard the expression, “honor among thieves”. In that age-old tradition, we try to credit the blog that we stole it from. When possible, we contact the owner of the blog where we stole the post. We also provide a link to the victim's meme in our "Previous Victims" widget. (It's our way of saying "Thanks!") Sometimes we edit the original meme, to make it more relevant to our global players, to challenge our players, to select the best questions, or simply to make it less repetitive from this new meme or recently asked questions from a previously featured meme.

We found this gem from a rather weird Martial Arts Site. There were random cartoons and pictures of women on the page, but this one was as silly as any. It was called "Random Questions" but since we've had at least a dozen memes (or surveys) named some variation of that we just made a new name up. I guess I should shout,

Cheers to all of us thieves!!

Sunday Stealing: The Martial Arts Meme

Who was the last person that you held hands with?  My husband, Joe.

Are you loud, outgoing or shy?  I'm not loud and I'm more shy than outgoing, but not as shy as I once was.  Getting older has made me a bit more outgoing.

Who are you looking forward to seeing?  Our granddaughter, Lauren!

Are you easy to get along with?  I think so. I hope so.

Have you ever given up on someone, only to let them back into your lives?  Yes. Why?  Because I care.

If you were ill, which TV doctor or nurse would you want to take care of you?  I think I have to say Dr. Alex Karev from Grey's Anatomy, even though he is in pediatrics.

Does talking about sex make you uncomfortable?  No. It's probably that getting older thing.

Who was the last person that you had serious conversation with?  Joe.

What was the last text message you received about?  An accident on I-4 from a traffic news thing I subscribe to.

Do you believe in luck and/or miracles?  Yes.

What good thing happened this summer?  Lots of good family time!!

Convince us why we should or should not believe in life on other planets?  I can't convince you, but I am open to the belief that there is probably life of some kind out there. Why would we be the only planet with life when the universe is so vast?

Who was your first crush on?  Doug Pillows, in 4th grade.

Favorite part of daily routine?  Finally getting to go to bed at night!  Ha!

Do you like your neighbors?  We have terrific neighbors all around us.  Count them as good friends, actually. We share meals, we celebrate birthdays, etc.  It's the one thing I hate to think about losing when we move next year. We have been so blessed.

What’s your worst feature?  My weight.

Have you ever had trust issues?  With a few people over the years, yes (and rightly so).  I do tend to be much too trusting, though.

Thank you for playing this week on Sunday Stealing! Please leave a comment or link when you have posted. Stop back and visit other player’s posts. That is really what this is all about, making new friends! Have a great week. See you next Sunday!

Thanks, as always, for your visit! I hope you are having a good weekend!  Peace & hugs.

  6. Another interesting 'interview'!

I used to be pathologically shy ..... and was only compelled to be more outgoing when I lost a job opportunity because I failed to look the interviewer in the eye. That was more years ago than I care to admit, but something I've never forgotten.

Say, do you ever wonder what happened to Doug Pillows? Sometimes a random name from my past will float to the surface and I run to Facebook to see if I can find him/her. :)

    1. I have actually looked for several people, including Doug, on FB. I would love to find my best friend, Linda, from 1, 2, and 3rd grade but she hasn't surfaced either. Of course, women usually take their husband's last name which makes it harder.

  7. Loved your answers and I have to admit, going to bed at the end of the day just might be a close second to my favorite part of the day since school started back up. I am tired!

  8. Ever since my last surgery, I've packed the weight on due to inactivity. Now it feels like I'm all stoved up and can't lose it. I've considered lipo but can't justify the expense. I'm not trying to look a certain way (hey, I know that ship has sailed), just want to be able to button my pants again. So, yeah, I worry about weight too. Maybe I should just give up and get a Mumu?! Need one that can take 60+ mph wind on a saddle. (Wouldn't that look funny!!??) *lol*
Hope your day is blessed. ~:)

    1. Now I have a visual of that mumu flapping in the wind! LOL Losing weight gets harder the older we get. My friends who have tried lipo and stomach bands, etc. eventually gained it back so those aren't really a fix either. Sigh.

  9. I think you're right on both points about getting older! Having good neighbors is such a blessing. We have good neighbors, but not social with them.

  11. So Alex is still on Grey's! I haven't watched the show in years, but I remember him (and Izzy and Christina and George and McDreamy and McSteamy ... and they've all moved on).

    1. Yes, Justin Chambers is one of the few originals still on the show (he is also my cousin, which is why I chose him).

  12. I am not quite as shy as I used to be. Happy to hear you enjoyed a lot of family time over the summer. My sis and I were laughing that our late mom remembered the name of her boyfriend from first grade!!! That was a long time to remember a name! lol
