Linking up with Rebecca Jo at Knit By God's Hand for Thankful Thursday! Join us HERE!
Here are some things I am thankful for this week:
- The first thing I will mention is that Joe got good reports from his primary doctor and from his neurologist. He doesn't have to go back to the neurologist for six months. Dr. C was very happy with Joe's stroke recovery. Praise God!!
- We are looking forward to a visit from granddaughter Lauren (maybe this weekend) and grandson Tristan has a birthday October 3rd. So blessed with two smart and responsible grandchildren (who aren't children anymore at 20 and 27).
- I am thankful that kitty cat Millie is recovering next door. She is one of our neighbor's cats and they found out she has diabetes. She is home from the Vet and is getting shots twice a day. We will be cat-sitting in November when they go on a cruise, so I need to get Millie comfortable with me giving her an injection before they go.
- I am thankful that a blogging friend wrote about an amazing travel mug that keeps cold drinks cold all day. It can be compared to YETI but isn't even close to being that expensive. I purchased a 30-ounce mug and will tell you that by the end of the day, there is still ice in my new cup. I'm amazed at how cold it keeps my iced tea!! Thanks, Stacy!!
What are you thankful for this week? I'm thankful for your visit!! Peace & hugs!

You are definitely blessed with two handsome/beautiful intelligent grandchildren. Oh, hope your neighbor kitty does well with the shots. That is a great cup for sure. I am blessed by your friendship and have been for years now.
ReplyDeleteHope Tristan is enjoying college, smiles...I have one of those cups and you are right---keeps things cold or hot. Have a beautiful day.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful grandkids Terri. I enjoyed all your graphics today, they made me smile. Wonderful news about Joe, so happy for his good report. Have a great day!!
ReplyDeleteYIPPPEEEE on good new for Joe!
ReplyDeleteI swear, I hear of more animals having more 'human' health issues. What is in their food????
I gotta get one of those cups. I hear nothing but good things about that one.
My husband and the other grandfather were given those cups for Father's Day this year by Josh & Amanda. They really are amazing cups. Even if you leave them in a hot car for an hour or two, there is still ice in them!
ReplyDeleteBummer on giving the cat shots. I cannot imagine it liking that.
YAY for Joe's great doctors' visits!
ReplyDeleteI know folks give their fur babies injections but, frankly, I'd be terrified. I can't even bring myself to clip our girls' nails.
Thankful there's but one business day remaining this week!
I'm thrilled that Joe had good news. I pray that continues. The little girl is too cute. She's adorable. Poor kitty, hope the diabetes can be controlled. And I could use that mug! I drink water all day long. That would really come in handy.
ReplyDeleteHope the rest of your day is blessed. ~:)
Terri, I'm glad that Joe is on the mend. Praise God! And grandchildren will always be grandchildren no matter what age! :-)
ReplyDeleteI got the Ozark tumbler at Wal-Mart, 30 ounce, and it's AWESOME!!! I love your illustrations today...so applicable, but that sweet little girl dancing is adorable! So glad to hear about Mr. Joe's good reports. Happy Thursday!
ReplyDeleteDick and I each have a Thermos brand metal water bottle with an easy snap-top lid. It keeps ice for over a day!! I fill it with ice each morning and keep refilling with water all day long. I'm seriously addicted to it, hahaha! If I ever go somewhere in the car without it I feel like I can't stand not having water to drink.
ReplyDeleteVery happy to hear about Joe's good report. We know just how wonderful that feels.
I need a new ice water cup. I will look into that one.
ReplyDeleteYay on Joe getting good Dr reports.
Have a great day!
