Sunday Stealing Back to 2003....

Thanks to Bud and to Caitlin for this week's meme!! Visit and join in the fun!

The "Doing Questions Like It's 2003" Meme

Welcome back to Sunday Stealing which originated on WTIT: The Blog authored by Bud Weiser. Here we will steal all types of memes (or surveys) from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent memes. You may have heard the expression, “honor among thieves”. In that age-old tradition, we try to credit the blog that we stole it from. When possible, we contact the owner of the blog where we stole the post. We also provide a link to the victim's meme in our "Previous Victims" widget. (It's our way of saying "Thanks!")  Sometimes we edit the original meme, to make it more relevant to our global players, to challenge our players, to select the best questions, or simply to make it less repetitive from this new meme or recently asked questions from a previously featured meme.

We found this gem from a blog named “Catlin Etc”. Catlin describes herself as “a 30-something lady living the best life ever with my hot husband, spunky toddler and needy dog.” She explains that she stole it from Karen at“Tiny Bird Heart”. But that’s as far as we go. Tracing questions back to the original author is just too much work.  Time to toast!
Cheers to all of us thieves!

Tell us about your pets. If you don’t have one, share why you don’t. We have three cats right now. Vinny, Lucy, and Lilly.  They were ferals (or nearly ferals) that we adopted from the streets. They don't get along but tolerate each other and us. Love 'em to pieces.

Name three things that are close to you.  Things?  My computer is on my lap, my glass of iced tea is next to me as is my cell phone.

How was the weather for your summer?  Hot and humid.

What was the last film you saw?  At the theater, it was Jason Bourne.  Did you like it?  It was okay.

Tell us about the last trip that you took.  The last long trip we took was to Folly Beach, SC.

Where do you buy groceries?  Publix, Sam's Club and WalMart.  Why?  They carry what we like.

Tell us something that you did today. Or will do if you haven’t had your morning coffee yet.  We went to the downtown Farmers' Market yesterday morning.  Today is laundry day!

Have you pulled an all-nighter?  Not in a long, long time.

Can you taste the difference between Pepsi & Coke?  Probably not, since I don't drink either.

Tell us about your siblings. How many and what do they do?  My brother died of cancer when he was 48, leaving a loving wife and two great kids behind. He had is own business which was very successful and is still in business today.  I have two sisters. One is an elementary school teacher (over 35 years now) and the other is now staying at home to care for her husband who had a very bad stroke two years ago. She was an English teacher and most recently worked in merchandising for Nabisco.

What’s the oldest thing that you own?  I have several antiques that are family pieces, including a cedar chest that was my mom's high school graduation gift in 1948.

We are now on Facebook, too. WE ARE NOT MOVING THERE. It's an experiment to see if there is a market to find new players. Our main focus will be here. You are the most loyal players ever! Look how many memes are gone. But our weekend memes are still chugging along. If you're curious, our Facebook address is: Facebook.com/sundaystealing. Feel free to post on both sites! But it doesn't matter.  Thank you for playing this week on Sunday Stealing!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Wishing you a good Sunday!  Peace & hugs.

  1. Lots of family antiques here, too. I love having the connection to generations past.

    Have a great Sunday!

  2. Hi Terri, I know you treasure your mom's cedar chest. I have mom's maple china cabinet and china from 1947. So nice to see pictures of your sweet kitties. We currently have 5 rescues. Wishing you a restful day, despite the laundry!

  3. Cute kitties. I'm a dog person through and through. I'd probably be a 'crazy dog lady' if given half a chance.
I have few possessions that where my mother's (she died in 1966 when I was 10). Those that I do have are precious but not essential. We have Christ, His love is sufficient.
I don't drink or like Pepsi or Coke anymore, it's been a coon's age, but I do remember that each has a distinctive taste.
Hope your day is blessed. ~:)

  4. We only have goldfish right now. I do miss having a cat + dog.

I used to be able to tell the difference between Coke + Pepsi but I rarely drink it anymore so I probably can't anymore.
    Have a great day!

  5. Being a Georgia Girl, I can definitely tell Coke from Pepsi. However I am trying to give up soft drinks here at home. I allow myself to have an occasional one when out to eat. Trying to drink only coffee in the am then water the rest of the day.

  6. My three things, laptop, which is in my lap, a cup of coffee and my phone next to me! Your cats are beautiful, I really like the one with long hair. I do drink cokes, not as much as I used to...there is a difference in their taste! Hope you have a blessed SonDay!

  7. Love how you managed to shoot the kitties face on, without the glowing demon eyes. I know how hard that is. I also appreciate that you didn't consider your furry friends "things."

    1. Well, I must confess that our granddaughter took the photos when she was here awhile back. She got down on the floor with them...I can't do that anymore.

  8. Great kitty pictures!
I've taken 'grief' all my life for not being able to tell the difference between Coke and Pepsi ... but didn't care for either one. I used to be a Big Fan of Diet Dr. Pepper, but that, too, went by the way. Something about carbonated beverages is off-putting.

  9. Kitties are such good company! I don't drink soda either, at least hardly ever. Let me know if you see a movie that you recommend. I'm always looking for recommendations. The last movie we watched was 'Bridge of Spies.' Mostly we stick with Masterpiece Theater on PBS. Enjoyed your post today, Terry. I'm finishing up laundry too.
