The Gal's Meme, Part Two
Welcome back to Sunday Stealing which originated on WTIT: The Blog authored by Bud Weiser. Here we will steal all types of memes (or surveys) from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent memes. You may have heard the expression, “honor among thieves”. In that age-old tradition, we try to credit the blog that we stole it from. When possible, we contact the owner of the blog where we stole the post. We also provide a link to the victim's meme in our "Previous Victims" widget. (It's our way of saying "Thanks!") Sometimes we edit the original meme, to make it more relevant to our global players, to challenge our players, to select the best questions, or simply to make it less repetitive from this new meme or recently asked questions from a previously featured meme.
We Found this gem when last week we asked for memes to steal. The Gal Herself, (my friend and the author of Saturday 9) gave us this one that she stole from Kwizgiver (my friend and the author of this meme except this summer). It's long so we broke it up. As it says above, we edit and change questions. Mostly I hate yes or no questions. So I change them or delete them. Sometimes I rewrite almost every question. That also allows the person I stole it from to play. That's not a goal but it is reality. If you think hosting a meme is easy, try it once. Okay, now time for me to shout:
What did your last text message say? I don't text that much and I don't keep them on my phone.
Are you someone’s best friend? I sure hope so! Tell us about your friendship. Joe is my #1 BFF.
What are you doing tomorrow? Enjoying the kids being here! Oh, and laundry! LOL
What do you think of when you think of Australia? Kangeroos....
Last person you talked to on the phone? Joe. What about? The kids' visit....
Any plans today? Pool time with the kids. Do tell. Hoping the rain stays away so we can play today.
What makes you happy? Life....and having the kids here visiting!
What’s your favorite room where you live? Kitchen/living room.
Biggest annoyance in your life right now? That I'm not retired yet! LOL
Last movie you saw? The Ninth Gate, with Johnny Depp. Review, please. Tristan chose it for us to watch....Not my favorite and probably won't watch it again.
If you are jealous of anyone, tell us about it. I'm not jealous of anyone.
What is the most serious relationship you’ve had? Joe and I have been married 31 wonderful years.
Should anyone be jealous of you? I don't think so.
What do you usually do during the work day? Accounting.
Tell us about someone that you really don’t care for. Hillary Clinton. Enough said.
Do you use the phrase “Have a good one” daily? Probably.
How old do you wish you’d be turning on your next birthday? I will be 65 and that's a good thing! Why? Retirement!!
Do you still like amusement parks? Not so much. Tell us about your last trip to one. It's been too long. I don't remember which one we visited last. We had season passes for Disney, Universal, Sea World and Busch Gardens.
How did you get one of your scars? I cut my thumb with a sharp knife and had to get 11 stitches. I was 13 years old when that happened. My dad fainted. There was a lot of blood. Mom took me to the doctor's office.
Will you still love me tomorrow? Of course!
Thank you for playing this week on Sunday Stealing! Please leave a comment or link when you have posted. Stop back and visit other player’s posts. That is really what this is all about, making new friends! Have a great week. See you next Sunday!
Thanks to The Gal Herself for another fun Sunday Stealing!! Join in and link up!
Your visit is appreciated! Have a blessed Sunday! Peace & hugs.!

I spy with my little eye....owlies!!! ;-) So glad you're having a great weekend with the kids....and grand pups! Happy SONday to you!
ReplyDeleteDeb, this background did make me think of you! :)
DeleteMy husband is my best friend too Terri...isnt that a great blessing.
ReplyDeleteLoveee your background...smiles...enjoyed your answers, have a beautiful day friend.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your answers - most of the time, they would be the same as mine! Have fun today, and rain.....stay away!
ReplyDeleteHope the rain stays away. Enjoy your pool time!
ReplyDeleteOh, I hope the rain stays away and you have a good day with the kids. We had to cancel our plans because the forecast is 90% chance of rain with thunder storms thrown in for good measure....not exactly weather you want to go to the zoo in. :( Next weekend we get to keep them and do a good deed. We will pick them up very early next Saturday before our d-i-l goes for an outpatient procedure.
ReplyDeleteI knew your background would catch Deb's eye!! Have a great SonDay. btw, enjoyed all your answers and Mr D is my BFF !!
ReplyDeleteTick, tick, tick ... one minute closer to retirement! I'm guessing there's a big party in the works? My goodness, I hope they've a succession plan in place. I'll bet you're going to be missed terribly.
ReplyDeleteI'm requesting no big shindig because that's not how I roll. I also know that no one is irreplaceable. After 20 years doing it the same way, I'm sure a younger person will be able to come in and do it all so much more efficiently. My friends will remain friends, so no missing anyone. It's all good!!! :)
DeleteHave you gotten your Medicare supplement policy yet? Or did I ask you that already? I have Part G and only pay $145 deductible for the entire year. And I can go anywhere in the USA if traveling. It has been fun to go to the doctor and not pay anything!!!
ReplyDeleteOur family - - texts a LOT! Easy way to communicate during the day.
My husband is also my BFF. Helps to have a harmonious house, doesn't it.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your up and coming retirement. You'll love it! It seems I'm busier now than when I was working, I swear. ~:)
