August 4th Happiness Challenge....

Linking up with One Gal's Musings for the August Happiness Challenge on this fourth day of August.

One of my favorite places to go shopping is Bed Bath & Beyond.  Joe and I went to Lakeside Village last night to pick up some K-Cup teas.  BB&B is the only place we have found them, other than ordering online from Amazon.  They also carry Virginia Peanuts, which Joe loves so we picked up a can of them while we were there too.  I am a kitchen gadget junkie and can browse through that store for hours.

Of course, we had to find a place for dinner while there!  That is easy since there are lots of restaurants to choose from. One of my favorites is Fish City Grill and that is where we went.  I had fish & chips and Joe had the catfish.

So, shopping at BB&B and eating dinner out with my sweetheart made me very happy!! Pictures below!

Fish City Grill at our Lakeside Village

Bed Bath & Beyond....beyond the fountain!

English Breakfast Tea; Earl Grey Tea; and Nightly Calm Herbal Tea
We are mainly coffee drinkers, but enjoy tea in the evening now and then.

Wishing you a good Thursday!!  Today is my Friday at work.  We are off to the beach tomorrow for a long weekend!  I don't even care if it rains all weekend....we will be "away".  I am also seeing the Chiropractor this morning to see if he can make an adjustment on this hip/sciatica mess I've been dealing with. I want to be able to walk on the beach this weekend. Fingers crossed.

Thanks for your visit!  Be happy today!!  Peace & hugs.

  1. Good to know BBB carries the K-cup teas. We keep coffee for our son and daughter-in-law, but like the teas and hot chocolate and Walmart doesn't have a huge selection of those and what they do have is hit or miss. Unfortunately, I have to go to Pittsburgh to go to a BBB. I'll make it a point to get to it when I visit now and stock up.

  2. Oh Terri, I love our Bed Bath and Beyond. Like you, I can spend a good hour in there just looking at everything. That is the only place I have found Scrub Daddys and I purchased my Salt Lamps there. I will look for those peanuts...they sound yummy.

    1. I didn't even think to look for your scrubbies. Now I have a reason to go again....not that I ever need a reason to visit BB&B!!

  4. I just ordered some tea online, but I'll have to look at BBB in the future. Since I went decaf, I need some herbal teas for my Keurig :-)

  5. I guess I am the fortunate one. My local grocery store has half an aisle of K-cups including all kinds of tea -- caffeinated and decaf. Black tea, green tea and herbal. I just pick them up with my regular weekly shopping. I don't think I have ever been to Bed Bath & Beyond although I know what it is. There is none near me. The closest one is about 12 miles away. Your dinner sounds delicious! Hope you have a good time at the beach. I envy you.

  7. That's a shame its the only place to get your K-Cups. Our grocery does a good job of carrying TONS of them - so many varieties... Target does to. But I would love excuses to go to BB&B more :) haha

    1. We can get lots of coffee choices in those stores you mentioned, but they don't carry the tea. Crazy.

  8. BBB is one of my favorite places, too. A 20% off makes it even better and the $5 coupons - hooray! I also love kitchen gadgets and have found some terrific items there. Hope all goes well for you with the chiropractor and your weekend.

  10. Since we've Keurig's 'Vue', I usually order our pods directly from Keurig (no sales tax ... free shipping ... YAY!).
Whoops, I got carried away there! :(
Anyway, BB&B is the only retailer out here that carries those pods; and like you, I love their selection of 'gadgets.' Had to pick up a sweet new Scrub Daddy myself just last weekend.

Have yourselves LOTS of fun in the coming days!

  11. For me, BB&B is like Trader Joe's. I think of all the lovely dinner parties I could have in my beautiful home ... IF ONLY I COULD GET IT TOGETHER! :) Thanks for participating in the August Happiness Challenge.

  15. The PT really helped with my sciatica - - but the thing that has helped the most is kicking the cats out of our bed!!!!! Seriously! We started sleeping with the door shut this week. They were not happy the first night but so far the rest of the week has been great. Long story short is the cats kept the covers tight on my body which caused pressure when I couldn't move around. They also were pushing against my legs wrong to aggravate joints. Both Bill and I have slept TONS better this week! It's like a new lease on life.

    1. Wow! Our cats rarely sleep with us now, so that isn't something I can try. Wish it could be that easy. The chiropractor did nothing for me today. So disappointed.

  16. I get my K cups by the case at Ollie's. Absolutely the best buy in town. Not sure if you have that store in FL. I LOVE that second picture with the palm trees!!!

    1. Never heard of Ollie's. Will have to see if there is one in Tampa or Orlando. We have palm trees everywhere. I don't even notice anymore.

    2. Found one in Orlando...50 miles away. May have to just make a run over there one of these weekends and check it out!
