Thankful Thursday....

Today is the day we are going to start the process for renewing our passports. Joe will pick me up at work and we'll grab lunch while we are out, too. It will be good to get out of the office for awhile!

I am so thankful for a roof over our heads and one that doesn't leak. The rain from the tropical storm has just been relentless!  We don't have it as bad as folks over on the Gulf coast, but it is awfully soggy here.

Thanks for peeking in!  Peace & hugs.

  1. You know how I love thankful posts...good luck with the passport process and I've seen all you rain on the news. Now is the time of year we will be in need of rain. I've enjoyed my green grass longer this season than normal so with temps in the 90's upon us there is no rain in sight.

  7. My Nashville gang had to just get passports & she said it took HOURS. She said the line was huge. I'm like Why is everyone trying to leave the country? :) haha

  8. Be careful in your yard. Very very wet and hot summer days make chiggers very happy. We found that out the hard way last year!
So glad you have a date with your sweet husband.

  9. So grateful it's "ONLY" rain and no high winds! HOPE you and Mr. Joe had a nice lunch and got all the paperwork done for the renewal. I have a passport, but it's on stand-by if I should ever need it....on of these days! Going to the Holy Land is on my bucket list!
