Friday Foto Friends.....

Please hop over to Debbie's blog, Breathing In Grace, to link up with other FFFs!!

I only have one photo to share today and many of you will remember seeing it before.  I am meeting my girlfriends today for lunch at Peking House.  This picture is from our last meeting, at the new Cheddars Restaurant.

I am so looking forward to retiring next year.  Then I can sit longer at lunch and if we want to go shopping, we can (or I can go with them!). Cindee and Heather used to work at the Museum. Shirley was a neighbor to Melody (not present in the photo) who used to work at the Museum.  One of these days I can say "I used to work at the Museum!".

I have to do payroll today and continue working on going through the general ledger with a fine-tooth comb (so to speak), preparing for the audit next month.  Glad it's Friday!!  Joe and I are going to St. Pete, to Mazzaro's tomorrow.  That's the Italian Market we love so much.  I'm cooking an Italian dinner for everyone when we are at Folly Beach in a couple of weeks. I need to stock up on good imported pasta and tomato sauce....oh, and a few bottles of red wine.

Tonight, Joe and I are taking Helen and Cheryl out to dinner (Applebee's, I think) and then back to the house for dessert. I have fresh strawberries, pound cake and ice cream to offer.

Wishing you all a good weekend!  Thanks for your visit!  Peace & hugs.

  4. Your retiring, and I am off to the Univ....how life magically goes, right? (smiles) I was thinking about that how most people my age are thinking about retiring in 20 yrs and here I am, just getting started with that part of my life.

Have a great time in St. Pete. I always enjoy your Friday Foto posts. Smiles

  10. So you have picked a retirement date?!! Very, very excited for you! Even though I watch the grandboys during the school year, it is still awesome not dealing with the public everyday and not having to be somewhere with a business mindset. Now if I have a rough day or am tired, I can rest with them if need be.

    1. I'm targeting the end of March 2017, Lynda. That will get me past my 20-year anniversary at the Museum.

  12. Terri, I am excited for you to get to retire soon. It is very nice to be able to linger at lunches and have freedom to do other things than rush back to work. I know you are grateful for your job, though. Your dessert is one of my favorites.

You mentioned Applebee's. I enjoy their grilled salmon with the artichoke sauce.
