Matthew 18:20 For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them."
O Lord, we call upon You in our times of sorrow, That You give us the strength and will to bear our heavy burdens, until we can again feel the warmth and love of Your divine compassion. Be mindful of us and have mercy on us while we struggle to comprehend life's hardships.
Keep us ever in Your watch, til we can walk again with light hearts and renewed spirits.
How blessed is everyone that trusts in You – to You and You alone be all blessing and honor, glory, might, majesty and power - for Your loving-kindness is better than life itself.
Lord, hear our prayers. Amen.
My requests:
- My sister's father-in-law died last night. Please keep Greg and Patti and the McDermott family in your prayers.
- B-I-L Bruce will be released to go home today and Tammy is (of course) thrilled. He will go back to the hospital in a month for another look at that mass, hoping that the blood from the brain bleed/stroke will be absorbed and they can get a clearer look at it. Please continue to pray for his healing!
- My dear friend, Karen, was released to go home also and she is recovering from some pretty serious blood clots. She still needs surgery for the cancer, and that will be scheduled later when she is stronger. Continued prayers needed for Karen, too.
Thank you for looking in today, and for sharing prayer requests and also praise for answered prayers. The power of prayer can't be denied. God bless!

So sorry for the loss in your extended family. Keeping you close in thought and prayer. This is such an awesome outreach and I know you're going to be blessed for doing it.
ReplyDeleteI pray that your sister's father-in-law went peacefully. Prayers and condolences for the family and also my prayers and thoughts for all those in need. As a matter of fact, we all can use someone praying for us.
ReplyDeletePrayers and Condolences, Terri...
ReplyDeletePrayers needed for traveling back and forth to campus (11 miles one way on windy roads), prayers for patience...I prob. could go on and on today...but I won't.
Have a Blessed Friday, my friend.
I absolutely love the box of words regarding prayer. I admired it last week and it actually gave me an idea for a post that is coming out next week. So thank you for finding it and sharing it. God is certainly watching over your loved ones. God is good! You can add our Pastor's wife to your list- she just found out she has cancer-lymphoma. Waiting to see what stage it is in. She's in her sixties and will need to start chemo.
ReplyDeleteWill continue to pray for Tammy and Bruce, and so sorry to hear that your other sister's FIL passed away. Glad that Karen got to come home and pray that future tests will be positive. I have a heavy heart this morning regarding my son. Please pray he wakes up before it is too late.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Terri, for this post. I will be praying for those listed here. God bless.
ReplyDeletePrayers sent for all listed Terri! Blessings on your weekend. xoxo
