What that really means is that I don't have much to write about today. It is a catch-up kind of week for me at work, before the bank statements arrive next week and life gets crazy for several days.
I have Friday off, to go with Joe to a client's office down in Pompano Beach. I've been going with him for several years now. It's a long way to drive alone, in one day. About three hours down and three hours back, after he works for five or six hours. This year is a little different!! We will be staying overnight at our granddaughter's and then coming home on Saturday afternoon. She lives in Boca Raton, which is just a hop-skip-and-jump from Pompano Beach. Her mom told me that she is nervous about having us come to stay. Of course, I think that is cute, but also feel kind of bad that she is nervous about us being there. She knows us well enough to know we are easy to please. It will be fun, I'm sure! Our granddaughter has grown up into a lovely young woman, and we are going to visit her, in her apartment! How did that happen so fast?!!

It will be a fun trip staying with your granddaughter. I am sure she is both excited and nervous as it is your first time to visit her and stay in her apt. Also happy to hear that Bruce continues to improve day by day.

How fun to be able to make the trip into an overnight! And a relief from all that driving in one day. They sure do grow up fast, don't they? Glad to hear Bruce keeps making good progress.

I'm glad you guys are going to stay over and enjoy the area and the "kid" more. You guys are so lucky to be near your fam. Be sure to take some pictures, now :)
