Tuesday Tidbit....

That's right - ONE tidbit!!  I am so far behind in getting ready for Christmas this year that I almost had a panic attack this morning!  I so enjoyed having Jeff here last week, and Lauren for the weekend, that nothing got done (wouldn't trade the time with them for anything, though!). I don't have cards ready, gifts wrapped or my little trinket things done for work. I want to take something homemade down to Naples this weekend....

Warp speed in the evenings, the rest of this week!!  I'm usually so in control and so much better organized!!  I know - calm down, and take it one task at a time, in an orderly fashion. It WILL get done. It will get done. It will ALL get done.  Ho, ho, ho......

  1. If I told you all the things I have not done yet for Christmas, you would feel much better about your situation. I've gotten used to it, so I don't even panic anymore. As a music teacher most of my life, and now a music director at two churches, my Christmases are always taken up by Christmas music prep and practices. It's a miracle my grandchildren get anything at all from me. I think MAYBE I might be able to do some shopping on Saturday. But I gotta find time to finish this doll and get it in the mail. My work week is all-consuming. Sigh. I'd better stop before I start panicking!!

  4. I know how you feel. I've just finished making a big batch of ranch dressing mix to make up into packets to give out. We will get it all done I know!

  5. I've never been this behind. I have over 1,000 ornaments and not one has been hung. I am normally done right after Thanksgiving. However, I have a calmness over me so I'm not feeling stressed about it. It will get done. I know a lot of women who are in this same position this year......Take care and God Bless.

  6. I almost need one of those buttons too. Until a friend told me the same thing.... calm down, take one task at a time and don't let it all overwhelm you that it hinders your joy of the season.
    You take care.

    Keep at it!
