- Happy Tuesday. It's December 2nd already. I am just not ready for this month to slip by so quickly!
- Our neighbors are on a cruise this week, so we are taking care of their two cats, the house, the mail, the newspaper, etc. I checked the itinerary they left for us, and they are in Jamaica today. Nice! We are so blessed to have good neighbors! Murphy & Millie are also great cats!
- Speaking of good neighbors, our neighbors across the street have taken in the wife's brother, who is missing a leg from a motorcycle accident and is a bit down on his luck. Will gets around the neighborhood in his battery powered wheel chair, and talks to everyone. He is passionate about Jesus Christ and offers prayer any time you need it. He proclaimed, yesterday, that it is so nice to live in a neighborhood of believers! I agree!!
- I have to get serious about Christmas shopping, Christmas cards, and finishing decorating the house! Motivation - motivation!!
- Our youngest son, Jeff, who couldn't come for Thanksgiving, arrives on Sunday night and will stay all week! He will be here for my birthday! Yippee!!
- Granddaughter Lauren, emailed me last night that she will try to get a day off from work so she can come up for a visit with her Uncle Jeff, and also be here for my birthday! Am I special, or what?!!! (smiling)
- I made up and ordered one of those picture books (like Shutterfly) for my Grandma, for Christmas. It came yesterday and I am quite pleased with how it turned out. I hope she likes it!!
- That's it for today. I'm late getting this posted, and need to get to work now!!

This is the 1st time I can remember that we're not rushed for Christmas. We're putting up the tree today. Lee hung lights yesterday during the 70 degree day we were blessed with. AND My shopping is finished, I'm happy to say -- Woot Woot. It'll be so nice having Jeff and maybe Lauren there as well. The best kind of birthday gift ever. Hugs
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that you'll have family there for your birthday. It makes all the difference. It's so nice that your neighbors have kind, reliable people to take care of their kitties while they're gone. Have a wonderful day, Terri. Christmas is coming fast! :-)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your visit from your son :-)
ReplyDeleteFinishing my tree today, then will need some motivation for tree #2 in the basement!
You are special, Terri, and hope you have as nice a birthday as I did. My sister Jackie makes photo books with Shutterfly. I think she gets lots of discounts and freebies too. That's one thing I miss about not living in the US - all those good discounts and coupons, We have both, but I don't think I've ever got anything free like you can with download Friday. Maybe Spain will embrace that one day too. After all, we have Halloween, Santa and now Black Friday.
ReplyDeleteThat cat collage of selfies is a hoot!! Of course, being partial to Siamese I really giggled at those three.
ReplyDeleteYes, you ARE blessed...to have good neighbors and loving family. Enjoy your birthday celebration with them
Love the cat selfies. Those were hiliarious.
ReplyDeleteYou sound like you have a nice life.
ReplyDeleteCute cat selfies. Sounds like you have busy times but nice and fun times ahead. The people in your neighborhood seem to be very nice. It warms my heart to see or hear of people like Will who are so upbeat and positive after bad things happen to them. Happy for you that Jeff will get to come visit. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures!
ReplyDeleteYes, you are special and I'm glad Lauren will be here for your birthday.
I've done 2 of those photo books lately and am working on one for my daughter and husband yet for Christmas. They really are nice and they're fun to do too.
Terri, the selfies are wonderful! :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy Early Birthday to you! Sounds like you have a good time planned with family. That's great. I hope it is a very happy one.
It is nice to have good Christian neighbors. It doesn't get any better.
I am finally starting to feel like I am in the land of the living, but I am exhausted from our trip. I also broke my IPAD. The face has a chunk of glass out of it. I either need to get it fixed or get a new one. Am on Fred's computer trying to blog. I decided to try and visit some. Wanted to drop by and see you. Hope you and Joe had a great Thanksgiving. We went to my niece's wedding and enjoyed it very much. I am just glad I felt up to going.
Love to you,
Sheila
While I'm not a cat person, I enjoyed the pictures you posted of the "selfies." Very cute!
ReplyDeleteThese photos are fun! So happy that you are expecting loved ones for your upcoming birthday!
