Welcome back to Sunday Stealing which originated on WTIT: The Blog authored by Bud Weiser. Here we will steal all types of memes from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent memes. You may have heard of the expression, “honor amongst thieves”. The Have You Ever Meme

1) Have you ever gotten lost in a maze? No, but those corn mazes do look like fun!
2) Have you ever been attacked by a wild animal? No, thank goodness!
3) Have you ever ridden a camel? Nope.
4) Have you ever pet a rat? I held some baby rats one time, but no.
5) Have you ever been a member of a gym? Yes - total waste of money (in my opinion).
6) Have you ever been in a helicopter? No.
7) Have you ever cheated at a test? No.
8) Have you ever ridden a tractor? Yes, more than once.
9) Have you ever passed wind/gas in an embarrassing situation? Oh my, haven't we all?
10) Have you ever played the bongos? No.
11) Have you ever handled a snake? Yes.
12) Have you ever assembled furniture by yourself? Yes.
13) Have you ever been scuba diving? No.
14) Have you ever had a disastrous interview? More than one!
15) Have you ever sold your services? Yes. I used to decorate cakes.
16) Have you ever raised money for charity? I have worked for non-profits most of my career. Yes.
17) Have you ever won a giant sized cuddly toy from a fair? No. I NEVER win at games or contests.
18) Have you ever milked a cow? No, I have not. My cousins' dairy farm was automated.
19) Have you ever used the phrase "back in my time" to someone younger than you? Probably every day! LOL
20) Have you ever invented a fairly unique meal or drink? Not on purpose! Think about that for a minute! Ha!
We had to say good-bye to our son, Jeff, today. Took him to the airport for his 1:45 flight back to Virginia. After we got back to Lakeland, we took Lauren out for lunch at Saigon Bistro, and then did some shopping. Our shopping destination (and where the restaurants are) is called Lakeside Village. They are all decorated for Christmas (of course) so we took a couple of photos in front of the big Christmas tree....

We had a lovely time! Came home for a couple of games (Lauren enjoys board games), some TV and dinner (home made Stromboli).

I got a big chuckle out of #20. LOL It looks wonderful there. Are you sure it's December?? Actually, we're having an odd stretch of weather here, with 50 degrees expected later today. ReplyDeleteLakeland always looks so pretty.....maybe it's because their citizens are so snazzy :) Fun meme, Terri. I laughed outright at the question "have you ever handled a snake". Having several "snake-encounters", the first thing that popped into my head was (imagine Pres. Clinton's voice, now), "Depends on what you mean by 'handle' ". (and I don't mean this in a dirty way). Seriously, I've "handled" them with rocks, shovels, a calculator, a gun, but most often I use a trusty stick....mostly diamond backs, but a few copperhead. all others get moved with a pitchfork....never by bare hands, though. ugh. Happy Sunday!
