Throw Back Thursday...
My longer-time blogging friends have seen this photo, so my apologies for not coming up with something you've not seen before. I do have quite a few new friends here, so thought I could get away with posting this again, for new eyes.
This is my high school, senior picture. I would love to see yours!! I promise not to laugh, if you don't, and please go easy on the Mary Tyler Moore hair jokes!!
Yes, I tamed the natural curls with big pink plastic rollers, Dippity-Do, and lots of hairspray. I also taped my bangs. Good golly, I was skinny back then. It was 1970, by the way.
Happy Friday Eve!! Wishing you a blessed day.

You were pretty then, and you are pretty now. Love the picture. Big rollers, dippity-Do and hairspray were my friends too back then! Have a super day.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing your picture - very pretty! And yes - I was skinny in mine too. :)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteSo fun to think back to those days. Nice photo.
ReplyDeleteI remember those days and your photo, of course - just don't remember if this was your senior pic. I remember I didn't sleep well the night before mine because of those horrible curlers. My sister teased my hair too, so my hair looked like a beehive.
ReplyDeleteFun!! You looked just like my sister! I also used the huge pink rollers, tape, and spray. I saved the rollers to put in a time capsule. Lol I also often ironed my long locks. :-)

ReplyDeleteYou haven't changed much, still pretty. And I love the hair. Back then all the girls wanted that style. I worked in a salon at that time and I have no idea how many girls I got in my chair that wanted that same look and how much tape I used on bangs. Sweet memories.
ReplyDeleteHi Terri! I'm hopping around to visit some of my friend Mari's friends tonight. I laughed when I saw your senior picture, because I just posted mine on FB today for Throwback Thursday! I'll probably put it on my blog when I post tomorrow. I graduated in '69 and we're having our 45th class reunion this weekend. I've lost touch with almost everyone in my class, so it will be interesting for sure.
