Joe has been fighting a cold all week, and I am fighting to not get it. We decided to lay low this weekend. Only one commitment...
After Mass this afternoon (we go to the 4:00 Vigil on Saturdays) we have the end-of-year dinner for my church women's group (Resurrection Council of Catholic Women - RCCW). It is at the Eaglebrook Country Club, and should be nice.
Not much else is going on, so I'm using this as my weekend post. Hoping your weekend will be more exciting and productive than mine!! Blessings!

Aww..praying that Joe feels better and you don't catch it..Blessings
ReplyDeleteA slow weekend is always good. Enjoy your dinner this evening, and keep away from the cold! not Joe, just the cold! lol
ReplyDeleteA quiet weekend is nice once in a while. Hope Joe feels better!
ReplyDeleteIf it is just a "sinus" cold, that is ok but if it is that coughing cold that is going all over the United States, you are in for a battle of at least 10 days or longer. Sounds like chicken soup time and you are smart to take it easy.
ReplyDeleteHope Joe feels better and that you don't get it.
ReplyDeleteHoping your Joe feels better soon and that you both just have a chance to sit back, take a break, and enjoy a quiet weekend together. Enjoy your dinner tonight.
ReplyDeleteI'd already commented that I hoped the only thing I had to fight this weekend was the heat. There's nothing worse than a summer cold, so hope you both manage to fight it off. Enjoy your dinner tonight.
ReplyDeleteA summer cold is the worst kind. I wish you both good health. Enjoy your weekend. A good time to just rest and "recharge your batteries". :) Take care.
ReplyDeletePS. Thank you for the kind words on my last post.
