Tuesday Throwback Tidbits....

How is that for a hybrid meme title? LOL

While Joe watched the Phillies play baseball, I started looking through digital photo albums. I found a bunch of photos I decided to share with you today.... you may want to take a drink of coffee before you start to yawn.

Tristan and his great-grandma, Julia D'Orsaneo (Joe's mom). Christmas 1999.

Our niece, Dawn D'Orsaneo Morgan, with her two oldest, in 2000, when they were visiting us. This was at Lake Morton, where we fed the swans and ducks.

Joe (far right) and his two brothers, Lou and Nick. This was Christmas 1999.

Our granddaughter, Lauren, who just graduated from college. This was in 2000.

Christmas 2011, Joe, Tristan, Lauren and me.

Joe and me, at last year's Mayfaire by-the-Lake.

Self explanatory, and I may have posted it before.

I changed my Facebook profile photo to this one.  My dear mother, from her wedding picture in October 1949. I cut my dad out of this one, but watch for him Father's Day week! :)

My brother, Randy, had a pontoon boat on Buckeye Lake (Ohio). We used to have so much fun in that boat. Especially when we anchored on a sand bar to swim off the boat. This was in 2000, and that is Joe in the back of the boat. Randy is at the wheel.

The kids loved tubing from the boat. Our two nieces, Sara and Kelly, were on the tube.

Nephew Mike and Niece Sara, in 2000, at Downtown Disney.
Mike is in pre-med at Ohio State University and Sara graduated from Ohio University and is a teacher now.

Sara and Mike in 2011.

That is me, in 2000. I was Vice President of my church women's group that year. I was skinny!

Tristan, in 2000. He was such a cute little guy!

So, that is my trip down memory lane, with most of the pictures from my year 2000 folder. Thanks for walking with me, especially if you made it this far!!  Love & hugs.

  3. Loved seeing your old photos - some I've seen before but not all. I can't believe I wore a size 6 when I was in university. Alas, my size has doubled.

  4. So enjoyed those great family photos, Terri. And what it shows me mostly is how very quickly time flies by. Those kids grow up way too fast, don't they.

  7. I always love to see the photos you share with us. Isn't it amazing to see how fast the kids have grown when we look through our albums? So many memories.

  8. I love looking through pictures. When my daughter was home we looked at some she hadn't seen. I was her age in the photo and we could pass for identical twins thirty years apart. It was so fun to see! Hope you're doing well.

  9. I enjoyed every step. Sometimes it makes me sad to look back at photos of when we were young and trim and could party all night.

  10. What fun family photos and memories. Are you originally from Ohio? I know you've said you lived in the midwest and colder climates than Florida.
