- Good Tuesday morning to you! Feeling a little more rested today, than yesterday!!
- Sam, the handyman, came yesterday to fix the screen panel that Lucy escaped through, and he will be back next week to begin some more major work for us, including re-doing all the screen panels and spline in the entire pool cage. It is past time, and probably why Lucy was able to get out so easily. The heat and sun beating down make the screen and spline brittle after a few years.
- Tristan is planning to take us to a movie on Saturday, when we are in Naples for our visit. Not sure what he is planning for us to see, but it will be fun to spend time with him.
- Lucy is behaving herself. I keep checking her for fleas, but haven't seen any so far. We don't do flea treatments often, since they are inside cats. It has only been a problem a couple of times, but I don't want an infestation, so want to stay on top of it.
- We are so hooked on the series "House of Cards" with Kevin Spacey. It is very good, and also very scary. It is frightening to think that stuff really happens in Washington, but we all know it does.
- I haven't been on Pinterest in ages, and at one time I was really hooked. Are you on and still active?
- I am having lunch with my friends, Helen and Cheryl, tomorrow. Thursday I will be at a luncheon for the Chamber of Commerce, on leadership. Of course, Friday we are driving down to Naples, and will be home on Sunday.
Thanks for stopping by!! Wishing you a good Tuesday. Peace, love & hugs.
Have a blessed day..no, not on Pinterest. Enjoy your trip with Tristan. (love that name btw)--Poor Lucy..lol..Blessings
ReplyDeleteI was addicted to Pinterest for a bit. Then I stopped cold turkey. It was hard. Now I am back on it but I try to limit my time. Why is it so addictive? lol
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
I go to Pinterest and look at pictures and use some of them for my heading on Blogspot, but other than that, nada. I cant keep up as it is...lol Glad you are getting the screened area repaired so no one (not naming names..lol) can escape again. I know you will enjoy being with Tristan and cant wait to hear what movie he chooses. Have a good Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you have a good week ahead of you.
ReplyDeleteI check Pinterest out a few times a week, not nearly as often as I used to.
So glad the cat containment issue is getting resolved. :-) Maybe I'll try House of Cards, now that I know you like it. I only pin things on Pinterest, occasionally. I'm not a Pinterest browser. Have a great Tuesday. I'll be interested in hearing what movie it was you went to see and whether or not you liked it!
ReplyDeleteI am addicted to Pinterest! There really are some good ideas there. I was resistant to it for a long time but love it as much as reading a magazine now. Our cats need a flea treatment. They dislike chemicals as much as I do but we have already seen one flea and a tick. I had a tick on me this weekend - - - not good since they have given me a bad beef allergy that gets worse with each tick bite.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad your kitty came home! We are doing all sorts of house repairs, too.
ReplyDeleteI don't do pinterest, but I have read and enjoyed the site.

You sure don't want cat fleas! Your cats are lucky that they have access to a protected outdoor area. Do you hear that, Lucy? Most indoor cats have to make do with looking out windows.
ReplyDeleteI still use Pinterest, just not as much as before. I just realized I didn't check Post Secret on Sunday, so will take a look when I get time.
I'm still fairly active on Pinterest. I use it mostly for layout ideas for my cards and scrapbook pages.
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Terri! I hope your kitty's stay flea free! So happy that Lucy is home and safe now. Sounds like you have a fun weekend planned. Did you see the movie, Noah, is coming out on Friday? I've heard mixed reviews on it. I'm addicted to Pinterest. I am on it way more than I should be..lol. Have a wonderful rest of the week!
ReplyDeleteKris, I've heard that "Noah" is not so good. We will probably wait for it to go to DVD (unless Tristan decides that's the one he wants to see). If you see it, let us know what you think, please!
DeleteIt sounds like Pinterest is something I should not even find out about and go for long walks instead. I already spend too much time sitting. Glad you cat life worries and ending.
ReplyDeleteI'm still a huge Pinterest fan, and use it often. I made two recipes I'd pinned for my book club last night. Both were keepers : )
ReplyDeleteNever did see the fascination with Pinterest for myself. Others are hooked tho.
ReplyDeleteAs for fleas, you reminded me of all the sand fleas in FLA! Ewww.
And you mentioned several times in my comments about all the birds photo posts/sorry, but I LIKE birds very much. Hope they're not getting you all too bored.
Not at all, Anni! I love your photos!!
DeleteGood to know that Lucy didn't bring any fleas home with her! I don't visit Pinterest unless I'm in the mood to try a new recipe from those I've pinned. Some day I need to revisit my crafts section and get Jasmine started on some projects I pinned for her. :-)
