Monday Quiz About Me....

Monday Quiz - A chance to play along with #MQAM

Welcome to Monday Quiz About Me - hosted by Heather & Wayne from Acting Balanced.  We are continuing to answer questions together.

Here are FOUR QUESTIONS that everyone can answer and then you have the option to add a fifth question of your own for those who are visiting your blog, to answer in the comment section, along with commenting on the four standard questions you answered!

1. March 10th is Middle Name Pride Day - are you proud of your middle name?  What is it and is there a story behind it?  My middle name is Lee. I never thought about whether I should be proud of it, or not. I don't use it, but rather only use the initial L.  My maternal great -grandmother was Verda Lee, and I got my middle name from her.

2. What makes you happy?  Oh, so many things make me happy!!  Family, family, family, and friends and all that goes with them. My job, my church, my faith. Life.

3. What do you consider to be 'middle age'?  I'm 62. I think I'm on the upside of middle age, but seriously still think of myself in my 30s.

4. What is your fondest memory of your grandparents?  I can't honestly say I have just one fond memory of my grandparents. My dad's folks, including my Granny (see last week's blogs about her) were wonderful. My mom's folks were divorced when she was 11 years old, so I grew up with a step-grandma, who is still living, and a step-grandpa who was an amazing carpenter, plumber & electrician. When he died, Grandma later married another wonderful man, Grandpa John, who had a great sense of humor.  So many fond memories, all centered on family reunions and holidays!

I don't have a question for you all, but will be happy to read your answers to one or more of the other four questions above!!  Wishing you a good week!

Thanks for stopping in!  Peace, love & hugs.

  3. Okay... I hate the term middle age. It sounds like a No Man's Land. I would rather be a senior than that! ;-)

    I love my middle name!

  8. You always give such focused and concise answers. I'll bet you're a fantastic accountant. It is fun getting to know all my blogging buddies more.

Like you, I'm not "proud" of my name but not ashamed either. It's Dawn. I don't know where it came from since the people who raised me either died young and the rest where dysfuntional. I have no idea where my adopted family are and don't care.

My happiest memory of Grandma Mum Mum (dad's mother) is her teaching me to crochet. She also took me to the Lutheran Church down the road. She was a very fine person. Everyone loved Mum Mum. ~:)

  9. I don't have a middle name. My real name is Maribeth, but I am usually called Mari (Mary).
All of my grandparents but one had passed away by the time I was 4. My surviving Grandpa used to take us on motorcycle rides. Scared my mom, but we had fun!
