It is almost my bedtime, and I haven't posted yet. I decided to copy my friend, Linda, and list a few things that come to mind, that I am thankful for.
- I am thankful that Joe got a good report from his doctor yesterday!
- I am thankful that my barber is also a friend and we are both doing Weight Watchers (got my hair trimmed after work today);
- I am thankful that my Facebook friend's wife gets to leave the hospital tomorrow, and that they are celebrating the birth of a new grandchild as she gets chemo and her tumor is shrinking (prayers work!);
- I am thankful that Kathy & Jim's house has a contract, and that they signed a contract on the new home we were blessed to see, with them, on Saturday!! Our grandson and family will be moving and our next visit with them will be in the new home - all on one floor!
- I am thankful to have received an email from our granddaughter, Lauren, today, signed with love!
- I am thankful our budget passed the first round for approval!
- I am thankful for a job and work-family that I love!
By no means a complete list. I have so much to be thankful for, including my friends here, on Blogger. I could go on, but will stop now!
Wishing you a good Wednesday! Thanks for choosing me! Peace, love & hugs!!

A beautiful, thankful post. Wishing you a restful evening.
ReplyDeleteA very nice post. That house business sure went fast! What a blessing that is!
ReplyDeleteVery nice list. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteYour 'thankfuls' hit the spot! I too am thankful Joe got a good report, that your budget passed, that 'the kids' are getting to move to a one story house, and friends, both real and online are the best! Have a good Wednesday my friend.
ReplyDeleteSuch an awesome post! It always feels so good to give thanks for all the blessings, both small and big, that God bestows on us!
ReplyDeleteOne day Tristan's mother and step-dad will also be thoughtful they don't have to climb stairs. Like I mentioned the other day, not having stairs was probably the thing that most convinced me to buy the flat where I live - that and the fact that I've lived in this area of Madrid all but a couple of years.
ReplyDeleteI'll also mention this in my weekly blog, but would like my friend Judy's brother-in-law to put on everyone's prayer list. He is in hospice care at home.She had to leave for Philadelphia on Friday.
read thankful instead of thoughtful. and I'm not using auto-correct!
DeleteBrenda, yes! I will add your friend's brother-in-law to my prayer list. Please keep us posted. Hospice care is such a blessing for the patient and the family.
DeleteThank you for sharing that great list of thankfulness. It makes us all reflect on the things God has blessed us with!
