Monday Holiday....

Because Easter is on Sunday, I get the Monday after off, from work, as a holiday.  Sure is nice to be home an extra day, to catch up on some things I've been putting off.

Joe's car wouldn't start this morning.  Batteries, in Florida, only last 2-3 years because of the heat.  Even those with "lifetime warranty" don't last more than 2-3 years.  I told him to take my car to his client's office this morning, and we would jump his car and go get a new battery later.  The new battery is in, and he is out again, in his car this time!  When he returns, we will run to Sam's Club.  He has a prescription ready, and we need a few things.

I am doing laundry today, with one load to go.  The house was cleaned on Saturday, and we have leftover ham for dinner tonight, so it is a laid-back day for me.  Yeah!

Wishing you all a good evening and week ahead!  Peace, love & hugs.

  1. The kids didn't have school here eitheir. One of my little students had been in her Pj's all day - a nice plan. I'm going to get into mine now too.

  2. Glad you had a day off and not having to cook makes it extra special. We went out to eat and rode thru the battlefield, just to be outside. It is glorious here today and rain coming for the rest of the week. Ugh!

  4. Good morning, Terri! Sorry to hear about Joe's car battery dying! Matthew's battery also went on the blink. Car issues are not fun.

  5. Happy Tuesday Terri ... I'm just getting here to read your post. Having an extra day off work is always a treat. And you didn't have to cook makes it even better. I didn't know that about car batteries. I does make sense tho'.
Hope you're having a good day.
