Well, we have made through the Wednesday work day!! Tomorrow is actually my 'Friday' since I have Friday (and all next week) off!! Still lots to get done before we head down to Naples for the weekend, but it is doable.
No relief with my knee. One of our security guards brought me something called Salonpass. You spray it on the painful joint or muscle and it is COLD for a little while. She 'swears by it' and is on her feet all day. So far, I don't see a difference, but didn't expect a miracle. I did get some patches to put on the bursa area, to see if that will help any. I will try ice again tonight, too.
While at the drug store (CVS), I stocked up on some goodies for Joe's stocking. Haven't had time or the gumption to get out before this. So - I am done and ready for the big day.

So sorry you are still suffering with your knee. I'm glad you have time off for the holiday.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your days off - it's nice to feel ready isn't it? Still praying for you.
ReplyDeleteJust barely started our Christmas shopping last night. This year has been crazy but Christmas will come anyways. Keeping it simple :) Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThat cartoon is cute.
ReplyDeleteI've heard of Salonpas, but I've never tried it. We use BioFreeze. It's what our chiropractor uses. My daughter, the massage therapist, has told me to put ice on a sore joint and hold it there until the area goes numb. That's hard to do, because it hurts, but it works.
I hope you have a great weekend.
We used that expression of 'hump day' too at work, back before I retired. I always cherished the long winter break.
ReplyDeleteSorry that you haven't had any pain relief! Hopefully by Friday that shot will kick in!
ReplyDeleteSorry your knee isn't any better. Hopefully that shot will start working for you soon
ReplyDeleteI have heard of that Salonpas and thought about trying it myself, but if you have and didnt really help, I am not going to invest in it. Glad you have time off now, and maybe you can relax it and that alone may do the trick. Try to be careful when you head south to Naples.
