I have to work tomorrow, for our annual Family Day. It is a fun event we do for the community each year, and it is free for everyone. We have music, story-tellers, face painting, art projects, magic, balloons, juggling, and more. Between 1,800 and 2,200 people will come through the doors between 11:00 - 3:00. I have to arrive at 8:00, to help make the balloon arch, and then will be answering phones from 10:00 - 12:00 (giving directions, mainly). The first 750 kids in line will get a bag of art supplies to take home (we get a grant for that). It's a good thing.
I have discovered some new sites on Google+, and am making some new friends on Blogger. It's lots of fun! I wanted to share one blogger with you. I picked up my new glasses last night, and am pleased that they are working great for the time I spend at my desk. Very weird when I forget and get up to go somewhere, because I can't see distance then, but my computer work is much more comfortable! They fit nicely and don't look too much different from my regular glasses.
They are the same color as my other glasses (bronze-ish), and the same shape. I was pleased with the choices they gave me, with my insurance. These only cost $28.00 total. Thank goodness for insurance!

Your glasses look great and I love your hair!! Family Fun day sounds like such a great day for the community. I know you have to work it but I hope you will get a chance to also have some fun there! Your new glasses look very becoming on you. The Family Day event sounds like so much fun. I hope it was a total success today. I know what you mean about wishing time would come faster. I no longer work but my days pass by so fast, I don't wish anymore for Friday's. I wish my days were longer. I'm going to check out the blog lady you mentioned.
