Good Saturday Evening....

We got the cleaning done this morning, and went to the 4:00 Vigil Mass this afternoon.  After church, we dropped our friend, Al, off at his house, and then we went to our favorite Chinese restaurant, Peking House, for dinner. We got to see wedding pictures for our waitress, Lisa's, son's wedding.  It looked like a beautiful celebration and she looked fabulous in her dress (which we saw a picture of the week before the wedding).  It's nice to have a place (like Cheers) where everyone knows us, and knows what our "usual" is once we are seated....hot and sour soup for both of us, Kung Pao Chicken for Joe and Szechaun Shrimp for me.  Yum.

Joe just pulled out one of our favorite movies to watch tonight.  With football season upon us, we always have to watch (at least once) "Invincible", which is a true story about Vince Papale, and the Philadelphia Eagles.  It's a great story - like a male version of Cinderella!  Joe is from Philly, and had season tickets back when Papale was playing.  He remembers everything that happens in this movie.  Makes it more fun to watch, for us.

Tomorrow, laundry and relaxing.  Hope your Saturday was good and wishing you a good Sunday!  Peace, love & hugs.

  1. Okay, since I couldn't delete all of my Blogger stuff, I'm trying this again. Could somebody please explain to me what the Dashboard is and why I seemed to have 2-3 blogs??? Where is some good info to figure this all out? I have never had problems figuring out a site until this one. Maybe if I had some good info, it would make more sense, and I'll like it better and stay.

    1. Do a Google search for Blogger instructions. There are lots of videos. You can also find help under "Help". One of the Bloggers I follow here has lots of good information on her site, too. Check it out here: http://sewmanyways.blogspot.com/

I will add you to my list and Circles. I like the Google Reader better than the Dashboard. Both places tell you when there is a new post by someone you are following. I'm glad you are giving this another try!

  3. Sweet and sour soup is also one of my favourites, especially when it's cold. Have a nice Sunday.

  4. Sounds like you had a good Saturday and hope your Sunday is equally nice. We enjoy Chinese every now and then too! Jim took Grayce and me to her favorite restaurant last night, and then we finished watching Tenn. vs. Ga. football. Tenn. lost but sure gave them a run for their money! Hugs.

    1. It really is a good movie, and that it is a true story makes it even more fun. There is a love story involved, too, so watch it when you can - even if you aren't an Eagles fan, it's a good movie.

  6. Never seen that movie, either. I'm sure dh would enjoy it, though, as he's an "all sports fanatic", though mostly baseball. Will have to check it out!
