Ten Thought Tuesday....

I've never done a Ten-Thought-Tuesday before.  Not sure I have 10 thoughts in my heard, but I'll give it a try!

  1. Have you checked out the "new" Multiply site?  http://civatar.com/  I'm not sure what I think about it.  Everyone has scattered and I really like Blogger.
  2. We have more wind today than we did when Isaac blew by yesterday.
  3. I get my hair cut after work this evening.
  4. There was enough gravy (spaghetti sauce) left to make baked ziti tonight.  I have some fresh mozzarella that will make it taste extra yummy!
  5. Things are quiet at work today, but I got payroll done and a couple other projects caught up.
  6. We are looking forward to spending Labor Day weekend with our extended family in Naples!
  7. I don't know what to get Joe for his birthday.  He gets things he needs, and never mentions wants.  He requested dinner out at BoneFish Grill, and that's a treat for me too!
  8. I've been playing with my Blogger page.  Added a couple of things and took a couple of things away.  New discoveries each day, though!
  9. I'm happy to have a few new friends on this site!  Sad to have lost a few from Multiply, too.
  10. Finally at number ten!  Wishing you all a good evening!

  1. I guess I am hooked here. I like playing with all the backgrounds, and things you can add, or take away...it is bright, easy and serves my purpose. I looked at the new site, but it was too "busy", and seems a lot of people from all over the world. I certainly dont have a lot of friends here, but I only had 9 on Multiply, and have 5 here. Hope to make some new friends, and start a new journey, but of course keeping my friends from Multiply that do want to stay here. I am too old to blog jump! lol You said you had a lot of wind...how about the rain, is it gone? Getting a haircut always makes me feel good!

    1. We had a short burst of rain, but nothing bad, and certainly no flooding.

    1. You are going to ban me from commenting, Terri, I usually do fairly well on the ipad and then I mess up and publish before I'm ready. Is that Naples in Italy you're talking about? I'm looking forward to seeing the fireworks show on the river,of course.

    2. Brenda, I wish it was Naples, Italy! Would love to go back to Italy, and Joe has a cousin in Naples, but unfortunately this is just 3 hours away - Naples, FL. that's where our grandson, Tristan, lives with his mom and step-dad.

  3. You did great for 10 things. The ziti sounds wonderful. I just got home a little while ago, need to fix something to eat myself. We got minimal wind, some downpours, no damage in my yard. Glad all is well there.

    1. Glad you and your home and wonderful garden are all okay, Lyn. Hope it doesn't do too much damage in New Orleans.

  5. Loved your Ten Thought Tuesday!! I have mixed feelings about the new Multiply site. I'm not going to lie, I was impressed with what they came up with but I'm really happy here so I'm not sure what I will do. OMG..Baked Ziti sounds soooo good right now!

    1. Kris, I can't see myself moving right now, either. I will be interested to see what they come up with, when they are done.

  6. I liked reading your 10 thoughts. I've been watching the weather channel and thinking about you. I'm glad to hear that you are all ok. Your hubby sounds like mine. It's hard to get him a "surprise" because he always says there's nothing he wants. So he gets what he needs. I haven't checked in on Multiply for a few days. I'm going to do that now. I like your new page here. It's very pretty. I'm so glad your safe and well.

  7. I"m liking Yuku a lot and having the forum there. I'm very disappointed in Multiply though.

    1. Tammy, is there a way for me to be notified when you post on Yuku? I'm not getting anything from there, even though I thought I signed up okay, so I wouldn't miss you.

  8. I guess I better log into my Multiply account and check the updates. I haven't been over there in days.

Thanks for clarifying gravy meant marinara. I was raised with gravy being meat drippings whisked with flour or cornstarch.

I never know what to get my husband either. I make him give me a list!

    1. Dawn, where I grew up, gravy meant the same it does for you, but Joe is 100% Italian, 1st generation American, and to him "gravy" means tomato sauce for pasta. I have to specify "meat gravy" or "pasta gravy" when talking to him.

  9. I had read that Civitar is only their beta site. It's in testing right now. They need people to sign up and try it and give feedback. Normally I would but I've been too busy this week. Maybe next week when I have more time.

Mmmm ziti sounds yummy. I used to do random thoughts posts a lot. I enjoy them. You did great! Have a great day!
