August 9, 2012 -- Tristan's Service Hours

It is always fun to have Tristan visiting.  He was at work with me all day yesterday (and half a day today), helping in the Education Department.  He gets service hours for the work he does, and he did work hard cleaning out the supply closets for them.  He also organized the flat files in one of the closets.

It was fun going out to lunch with him.  We tried a new little Chinese restaurant that is downtown.  It was surprisingly good!  He thought pizza would be good for dinner, so we had pizza!  LOL

Tristan doesn't know that we are getting a new kitten on Saturday.  He  played with a little gray kitten yesterday, that one of the volunteers brought in, trying to find a home for him.  Tristan wanted me to take him, of course.  If Lucky wasn't due on Saturday, I might have!!!

    Tristan seems like such a great kid! How great that he gets to come to work with you and is able to get service hours. What grade is he going into? I can't wait to see pics of Lucy! I love your new background..so happy to see you blogging here!

    Tristan will be in 10th grade this year. He will be 16 in October.

    He is driving already. He will get his license as soon as he is 16!
