Whimsical Fashion Fun...

There isn't a linky and there aren't any rules.
Check out the gown and pick the shoes you like best.
It is all for fun and just a whimsical thing!
Photos are from The Storybook of Dreams and Beauty,

Yes, another wedding dress, but isn't it a pretty one?!  See my thoughts for more about wedding dresses.  Count down on the shoes 1-2-3 and tell us which ones the bride should wear on her wedding day!  It is all for fun and just a whimsical thing!

My thoughts:  I think this gown is beautiful.  Simple and classy.  As for the shoes, a ballet flat would work for me but I'll go with pair #3 for the bride. They look the most comfortable (ha ha ha).  What are your thoughts?

Along with this, several folks asked what my Thanksgiving plans are since I mentioned that I have the time off.  I'm pretty sure I mentioned it in a previous post, but... My sister(in-law) Jo Anne, is coming down from Ohio.  She will be here on Monday.  On Wednesday, we are going over to De Bary, FL, to spend a few days with my nephew's future in-laws.  Following?  Nephew Michael is getting married to Megan next year.  She is from Florida and her folks live east of Orlando.  I was invited to join them for Thanksgiving!!  I will get to meet Megan for the first time, and BONUS, my niece Sara, her hubby Matthew, and their son Ezra will also be there.  Ezra is nearly a year old and I haven't met him in person yet so I am very excited for this BIG family Thanksgiving!!  The wedding connection... on Friday, after Thanksgiving, all of the women are going with Megan to find a wedding dress!!  How fun is that?!!

Just a little back story... my brother, Randy, died 20 years ago after a seven year battle with cancer.  He was only 48.  Sara was just 15 and Michael was 10.  Jo Anne has been an amazing single mom and Randy would be so proud of her and the kids.  Michael is doing his Residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.  Sara just got her Ph.D. in Education.  Her hubby, Matthew, is a Neurologist and is working at the OSU Hospital in Columbus.  I can't post a photo of Ezra.  They have asked us to not do that, but here are the folks I will be spending Thanksgiving with...

Back row from the left:  Jo Anne, Michael, Matthew, Sara, and the dad (I don't know his name!)

Front row from the left:  Maddy, Megan, Kerri (mom)

So now you know.  Mary Jane will be taking care of my house and the fur-babies while we are gone.

Peace and Hugs!!

Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;

for his steadfast love endures forever!

  5. I think I like 3 as week,
Sounds like a lovely plan with lots of young people to talk to. That is always a win in my book.

  6. I think number 3 as well - it is a beautiful dress.
I am so glad you are getting together with family and you have stayed together. I too lost my brother in 1997 at 51. We lost them too young.

  7. I like #3 and if we could chop the heel down, they would be perfect. Your Thanksgiving gathering sounds fantastic, Terri.

  10. I vote for #3 if I have to pick but my daughter wore sparkly Kate Spade tennis shoes and they were perfect! The flower girl even had a tiny pair!

  11. I love the dress, I didn't have a wedding gown, I wore a white wool suit, our wedding was very small. Anyway, I think I'd pick shoe #2, no special reason, they just appeal to me. Sounds like you have wonderful plans for Thanksgiving!!

  12. I'll choose #3, Terri.

  13. Since you are wearing shoe #3, I'll take #1. Both have an open toe, which is more comfortable (I think).

Happy Thanksgiving! Your plans sound great. Your family is so happy!!
