Hodgepodge Questions-Volume 527
2. November 15th is also National Philanthropy Day...tell us about a charity (local or otherwise) you like to support when you're able. My church is first on the list these days but I was very active in raising money for The American Cancer Society before I retired.
3.What in nature inspires you and why? What doesn't inspire?! A gentle rain or a heavy downpour? Amazing! A sunset or sunrise? Amazing! Birds and butterflies? Amazing! Livestock in a field of green? Amazing...
4. What's something you own that makes you feel cozy? My well-used recliner.
5. Who did you thank today? My boss, for giving me time off over Thanksgiving and allowing me to make up the time. Who thanked you? The cashier at Jersey Mike's, where I got a tuna sub for my dinner.
6. Insert your own random thought here. I'm watching Beverly Hill's Cop while I'm answering these questions. What a great movie!! I forgot how funny it was.

Nothing like finding that old salad dressing in the very very back of the Fridge when doing the deep dive cleaning.... I could swear I bought it yesterday I say without checking! :)
ReplyDeleteI just cleaned my frig out too. All of nature is inspiring because of the artist who created it.
ReplyDeleteI love my recliner!
Glad you get time off over Thanksgiving!
He was great back in the day! I'm glad you have some time off for the holiday. Are you cooking? I feel like if you're the cook you need the whole day before to prep. Happy Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteNot cooking but wish I was. I love doing Thanksgiving dinner.
DeleteMy recliner is definitely my comfort zone too! It is also well used.
ReplyDeleteYum on the tuna sub. Bet it was scrumptious.
So far, I've managed to keep the 'frig rather clutter free. I do need to deep clean it but haven't gotten motivated yet.
Glad you're getting time off for Thanksgiving. We're all meeting at our niece's house in Jax this year. I can't wait! It's gonna be great, I just know it.
Love & Blessings. xx
Amen to a comfy recliner! Your avatar makes me want to pop a batch of corn, melt some butter and call it lunch!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to hear your plans for Thanksgiving. If you happen anywhere near, please stop by!
That's one movie I've never seen, Terri, so will have to look it up. Lucky for me, Danny keeps tabs on the contents of our fridge and often cleans it out. No worries there!
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed day!
Hello Terri: I am always wiping my fridge out, we give each week to church and monthly to the local food shelf here in Minnesota they can buy five times the food for every dollar given. I am a big fan of Eddie Murphy he is a hoot.
ReplyDeleteI am inspired by my Faith to believe in all that is good.
Have a great day
Catherine
I need to clean out my fridge more thoroughly before Thanksgiving, so there will be room for leftovers! LOL. I try clean out stuff each week for trash day, but I am sure there are things hiding in there that I've overlooked. I'm so glad you have Thanksgiving extra time off! I hope you have a wonderful time!!! You are blessed with a great boss! God is good.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of rain, we were scheduled to get a new roof today but earlier this week we re-scheduled due to the forecasts for heavy rain. Haven't seen a lot of that here (yet).
ReplyDeleteIt's been raining all day here. Perhaps coming your way.
DeleteI enjoyed reading your answers. You are right...all those things are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI love your answers - you are just the sweetest gal. I love church as well although having some issues with the Methodist Church. Have a great trip.
