Fall Y'all.. how's it going?

Happy Fall Y'all

So, can we talk about how your autumn is going this year? Maybe we can get you to post a photo  or two
of your area in autumn...big changes or not.

1. Are leaves still falling where you are or are they done now? Have they even changed yet?  This questions isn't really applicable to central Florida.

2.  Does anyone in your family go hunting? Have you ever gone? Would you tell us about it?  My dad was a hunter.  I've never gone hunting.

3.  Who rakes the leaves at your house?  There are no leaves to rake.

4. Is football on your menu for fall? What teams get you cheering?  Since Joe died, I haven't been watching sports. I like football and hockey but it isn't fun to watch by myself.  I tell folks I am an Eagles and Flyers fan by marriage.

Peace and Hugs!

This is my Father's world
O let me ne'er forget
That though the wrong seems oft so strong
God is the Ruler yet.

PS:  The Vet visit with Casper went well.  We didn't do the blood work and we are able to put off the extraction for a while and see how it goes.  I'm hoping maybe it will come out on its own.  I just hope it won't get infected again but having some breathing room is good.  He is doing fine right now.  Thanks to all who were asking.

  3. Fall is my favorite time of year because of the coolness, colors and holidays, especially Thanksgiving. I hope yours will be joyful.
So happy to hear that Casper is on the mend. I pray that continues.
    Blessings. xx

  4. Most of our leaves have fallen, but there are still some coming down.
Bob is going hunting tomorrow, we'll see how that goes!
So happy Casper is doing well!

  5. How great to have no leaves for raking! I am an Eagles and Flyers fan by reason of proximity. I live so close to Philadelphia. Thanks for joining in and I sure hope the tooth comes out and he has no more pain or trouble.

  6. Whew(!) about Casper! Our front yard is blanketed in leaves, but I love them -- and so do the squirrels, hoping and skipping like little kids at recess.
These days the only football we follow is SEC -- there's just something about college v. the NFL. I don't know, maybe the professionals have forgotten what it's its like to be enthusiastic for the sheer joy of play.

  7. So happy that Casper is doing well. That's a relief! I know, here in Florida we don't get to enjoy the beauty of a true autumn, but then again, we don't have to worry about a lot of leaf raking...or snow and ice in winter...so we have many blessings to be thankful for! Amen to that verse of the song! Have a wonderful week.

  9. I enjoyed your answers. I have often said it would be hard for me to live in a state without distinct seasons. I love fall and the changing leaves. but I suppose you'd get used to it.
