I wonder if Barbara Stanwyck would like some of these shoes...if any of them were available back in those days. Count down 1-2-3 and tell us which ones you like best for the dress!!
My thoughts: I would wear the dress (but without the belt tied)! The #1 green shoes match the hat and the design in the dress, but I will choose #3, the red shoes because they look more comfortable. What are your thoughts?

I think she would have worn the white shoes, but for comfort I would have worn the red ones. The string tie on the inset waist may be a tad too much. The dress didn't need it.

I love the dress! I'd probably pair it with shoe #2.

ReplyDeleteEven before I read your choice, I was drawn to the red pumps! Obviously, I'm no fashion expert but #3 seems to best fit this 50's (?) look.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful dress - - for a tall slender figure! I am the person who loves something when it is on the rack and it looks short and squat and dumpy on my short square frame. Even though the green matches the hat, they are too dark for her feet. I love the red but the white would keep the focus upward towards her face. I once had a short class as part of a weekend getaway for women. They said fashion should draw people to your beautiful face.
