There isn't a linky and there aren't any rules!
Check out the dress and pick the shoes you like best for the dress.
It is all in fun and just a whimsical thing!
Photos are from the Storybook of Dreams & Beauty!
Another sweet vintage look!! Count down 1-2-3 on the shoes and tell us which ones you like best for the dress!!
My thoughts: This is such a pretty summer dress and wouldn't it be nice to have a waist like that?!! I don't think I've ever had one that small but I do like the vintage look. Of course, I am picking pair #2 for the shoes because they have lower heels and match the dress perfectly. What are your thoughts on the dress and the shoes?
Peace & hugs!!
Jesus loves us, this I know!!

Yes, I totally agree on the dress and the shoes! Perfect! Funny, my first thought was more of a fall look, maybe because of the darker colors...but then again, it could probably go either way here in Florida. I love emerald green. I made a dress for the prom out of a beautiful emerald green satin material when I was in Home Ec for my special project that year. Somewhere there's a picture of it. I may have to look for it someday when I'm not so busy. Thank you for sharing these each week. As I've told you, it's the first one I look for every Thursday!! Have a blessed day my friend. Hope you can plan a day trip up soon! I have a feeling I'll be at Dixie Cottage most every day, since I can't do the painting and creating of the things they sell, someone has to do it. LOL. It's all good. Just cramping my writing time!
ReplyDelete#2 it is for the same reasons...
ReplyDeleteDefinitely shoe #2!
ReplyDeleteOh definitely #2 and I'd like to be able to wear that dress too. No chance though lol
ReplyDeleteIt looks like one they would use in a movie that I would like! #2 is perfect!
ReplyDelete2 for me!
ReplyDeleteThe dress is gorgeous, and the shoes you all picked are probably the right ones, but I just like the #1 pair best. I couldn't wear any of it anymore, but oh it's pretty!
ReplyDeleteTotally #2! One of the few take-aways from 60's Home Economics, our shoes should always match or be darker than our clothing.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely #2! I just love that shade of green!
ReplyDeleteI think shoe number two as well - I think the gold would match, but too light in color to carry off the dress.
ReplyDelete#2 is my choice. They are perfect for the dress. I did have a waist that small, but it has been many years since I have seen it.
ReplyDeleteMy waist was never that small either. :)
ReplyDeleteI choose #2 as well.
The dress is so iconic! I'm going with #2 as a match.
ReplyDeleteThe dress is darling and in my dreams, I could wear it (ha-ha!) I'm choosing the 2nd pair of shoes, too!
ReplyDeleteThe dress is very pretty and I do love the green shoes for the same reasons you've mentioned.
