It's been a crazy week and I have no new photos to share... BUT I did raid my sister's box of photos last weekend and copied a few of them. It is fun to look back now and then.
My mom and grandma (her mom) are in New Orleans. No date and I
don't remember them going to New Orleans, so can't even guess.
That's me holding my little sister, Tammy, and Patti is squinting at the sun.
Patti is six years younger than me and Tammy is 9 years younger, So I must be 9.
My two first cousins, Peggy and Tom. That's me standing in front.
Peggy married a Pastor and died too young of cancer.
Tom became a Pastor and also died too young of cancer.
The photo was taken at my Granny & Pawpaw's farm.
My sweet mom. No date on the photo.
She looks 14 or 15 (just a guess).
My sweet mom again. No idea when or where this was taken.
My dad. Not sure when this was taken.
Looks like a work photo. I can see his pen in his pocket.
My Granny Kelly (Dad's mom).
She was really gussied up!
My Pawpaw Kelly. Quite dashing!!
He committed suicide when he was 81.
Very sad and hard to understand.
My home (sticking out on the right) is still at the corner of Broad & Main.
I don't miss the snow and cold at all but it is kinda pretty.
Joe's older brother, Lou, has four kids. Two sons and two daughters. The oldest son, Young Lou (yes, we call him Young Lou) is married to Peggy and they have three daughters. Their oldest is Jackie. Middle daughter is Nikki and she is the mom of my pen-pal Maya (great-great-niece!!). Anyway, TMI, but wanted you to try to see the branches of the tree. Lexie is their youngest daughter.
Jackie, Lexie, and Nikki (in front)
Peace & hugs!
God is Good!!
